It's been a while, is it that you have to have Yunium Key and the Steamwork Schematic of the pet you want to change it to or is it like the toy Nostalgic quest where its just the item he asks for? Then the person you give the pet to work on, is it 24 hrs or 12 hrs when they'll be done?

For the overlay question, is it okay to have a..say arid pet but have the custom overlay be that pet but in a different color? As long as it shows the original text of what it is?

I believe you just need the Key + Schematic, and then it takes 3 days to build your pet.

I think your overlay sounds fine, personally. Like I have a nuclear pet but his overlay is black and blue instead of black and green. If you're submitting it as a custom overlay, staff would just reject it if it's not okay for some reason

if you mean cover the arid pet with the glade artwork then that is not allowed. If you are just altering like what darkrai said a nuclear pet but instead of black and green is black and blue that is fine

so you mean its okay if you just change one of the colors in the overlay?

If by "have an arid pet in a different color" you mean by having it display as a different potion color, that's not allowed.

But if you made the arid overlay black instead of white or something, that's fine. Sorry I didn't even think of like potion colors at first ;P

oh! So you mean have the same overlay for arid, but change the colors/pink to blue, etc and changing it to a reborn overlay wouldn't work. I think I get it now, thanks :)
