A year ago when the Freyalise Trading Company was open, there was still a "captcha"-style question on the purchase screen so that people had to type in a code when making a purchase. This, being the first year, that FTC is open without the captcha, means that items get gobbled up within seconds of a restock because there is nothing to slow down the purchasing process.

Is this what y'all want?

I really think it should just be done like the free shop. without captchas it's kinda ridiculous. but meh, I'll deal with it.

I wish it was more like the holiday shops....basically, I wish it wasn't a restocking shop

I've yet to get a single damn restock :/ Don't have the time to refresh the shop every 5 seconds....even if I did, I probably will still not catch any, or rarely get any

I havent even seen anything yet xD I think i will treat it like the BHH(though i managed to grab a plushie there a few weeks ago) and just vend everyday xD i grabbed one item from vending so yeah i might be able to get all the books from quests and vending lol doubt it though

It's only here for ten days. I'm an active participant on this site (I've been online all day today) and I've yet to see a single item in that shop despite catching it on Restocked Now! about four times and restocked 1 minute ago about five. The odds are kind of ridiculous tbh. I had more luck vending for an item than for restocking and the vending machine has a huge pool of items it can pull from. I get that it's meant to be a special thing but not too keen on this right now. Adding a Captcha or switching up the shop type (at the expense of higher prices) would be nice.

of course it has to be restocking shop. it creates hope and dream for people so they stay and refresh over and over. it create traffic for the site.

but yeah, it sucks. i come to realize that i wasted too much time playing online. haha.

Honestly I would love for it to be like the other holiday shops. Everything is there for a price and once the holiday is over, the shop closes.

I'm biased as I'm a restocker mainly, but I find it relatively easy to get a nice load o items. Just refresh every minute or so s you browse the site. :P

I'm not a particularly avid restocker. I don't do it regularly. Honestly, I think the only time I do restock is during Keehauliday to try to get pirate items. I'm okay at it - I've managed to get like three or four items from the shop, and that's on top of an eight hour work day, an hour nap, two hours of television (Where I wasn't on the laptop at all) and of course making dinner.

It's not impossible. It's frustrating as hell, but doable.

All of that said, I would -love- to see this shop revamped Alegarten style. I would pay ten times as much for an item, if it came with a constant stock, being able to pick and choose what I want, not a mad grab for whatever I can.

I like it without the captcha code. I don't type fast enough LOL If you're patient, just refresh every min at the top of the min and you may get lucky :)

Is your suggestion that a captcha be re-added for restocking Keel items? I'm not really sure where the Site Feedback ends and the Suggestions begin, sorry.

If that is your suggestion I'm not sure I necessarily want that, although I guess it could help. I'm just kind of a little stunned that restocking was getting an overhaul (did it finish? I thought we were still having issues some rarities being deflated and items like the battle potions being unseen for their rarity) and then we get a week long celebration of restocking that's more grand than the own anniversary, so I just really hope someone is taking a look at these items and seeing how they're going out.

I mean, because this is a holiday even if the rate that they're going out is fine in terms of the economy, I've heard that the shop is restocking very slowly with waits up to 30 minutes. It'd be really great if that could be looked out if only for the fact that this is the event. Everyone just gathers around a shop and tries to snipe as many items as possible, it's kind of sucky when everyone is just waiting around for 30 minutes. Not very festive if you ask me.

Normally I'd just say that it's fine even if it requires a little extra effort.

I've caught multiple restocks, I refreshed multiple times a minute, I hit the items the second they show up, but I still have yet to get anything. Everything is gone in seconds, not even half a minute, even the old stuff. My connection isn't slow either, I had no problems getting things last year. I would not be opposed to re-adding captcha to this particular shop, though a holiday style shop would be nice too.

At the very least, I'm hoping it will slow down after a couple of days. I did manage to get one map from Cinthia and a bandanna from OD. So that's something.

I've seen more items in blackheart in the last week than I've seen in FTC today. Something needs to change.

: You're right that I was vague about my suggestion. I tried to make the suggestion open-ended in the sense that now that the captcha is gone, something needs to take its place for a "special" shop like this, without being specific about what that something is.

I think the current FTC is, as you say, "not very festive".

I'm sure it will slow down in a day or two. I'm not sure it really needs to be easy though. If there is something legitimately wrong with the restock rate, then I'm sure the staff will check it out and fix it. I don't feel though that everything on this site needs to be easily accomplished by every single person. It's impossible in the first place, it's also not realistic. There's a reason we all buy from each other. Battling bores me, but I buy from the battlers who don't want their prizes, etc.
