Update: the professor who did the deed committed suicide.

I'm curious about the motive of this. I know I'm gonna sound super heartless, but I don't feel so sad at this. (people die everyday) It's a research opportunity for me.

Moments like this make me wonder how much empathy I have left.

Honestly, I don't know. I do think that in cases like this, there's usually something that likely made the professor snap. As for what it was that made him snap and kill someone else and then kill himself I don't have the answer for that.
