it's been driving me mad that every day/every other day i sign online to 3-5 notifications or so to rps meant for loser-viola and for whatever reason they ping her as well as myself, i assume because of the dash. i just wanted this to be made aware as a problem because yes, i am very well aware i can turn my notifications off but i need/want them on for reasons.

nothing too serious though, just a mild annoyance.

Gonna ping you to this because I know you were dealing with pings and unusual characters in names. Anytime someone pings loser-viola, it pings loser instead. Is there anyway to fix that?

unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this. it's because people are typing @ loser-viola and not [ @ loser-viola ] (spaces to keep pings from happening). it's not a bug, sorry :(

Although this is not a bug, you could maybe ask the user to let people know how to ping her? That should at least help! Going to lock this up since it is not a bug.
