I'm hesitant about making a bug thread since this isn't a big issue and I just want to ask about it first.

Emojis haven't worked for me on the forums for a long time, ever since the update to make each post load individually. I see them on other parts of the site, like profile comments, but not the forums. Yet I see a lot of other people writing the emoji codes as though they still work. Which leads me to believe that it's just me having this issue. What can I do to get the emoji's to show up on the forums, and is it just me having this issue? (I'm on firefox on windows 7)

example: :) = a regular text smiley instead of the picture of the emoji.

everyone has that issue. This bug should've been reported a loooong time ago, but is probably not "important" enough to fix....

oohh really? Thanks! I guess when I see other people writing the emoji code like 😞 they're just pretending the emoji is there? And yes, it's a pretty small bug, but still mildly annoying.

I'm on win 7 with chrome and emojis won't show up.. in the P&B forums it is listed as fixed (7/2) in the forum topic sticky but there are complaints on the last site from 13/4... but those were never attended. Maybe a new post would help :)

Emojis on here are perpetually broken and forever on the back burner as far as fixes go.

I kinda wish they would fix it. Looks completely stupid to write the code for something and see the words....

I enjoy emojis. It would be nice if they worked most of the time though :p

I've not had any issues with the emojis. They're working fine for me but then again that's the SB and not forums :S have you tried going to the cheat sheet page and clicking on the one(s) you want to use to copy the code and then CTRL+V to paste the code into text box?

I've noticed this for a while and I'm actually... glad? XD I'm probably the only one, but I hate typing something and expecting what I typed and then here comes an emoji. Maybe I'm weird.

Ugh I wish they would fix it, but I'm not holding my breath :(

I mentioned it to Keith directly a few months ago, and I know they knew about it long before that. Who even knows anymore? \o/
