I do! All but one of mine have their own personality! Culpeo's kinda just my battle pet. But even he can't beat high level bosses... it must be hard to get a really good battle pet huh?

People who don't focus on Pets?

Basically you're in the place where (almost?) everyone has Pets with characters, it is the Pet Forum after all. :D So yes, all my Pets have characters.

Having pets on Subeta gives me a structure and an outlet to build and create characters. I have very few characters offsite, but I like using pets as starting points to channel some creativity.

Almost all of my pets are representative of human characters, apart from Saire who is a spirit in the form of a deer.

It's fun to experiment with different locations and settings. I have characters living through a zombie apocalypse, princesses fighting for their kingdom, witches, vampires, romantic pairings, a ballet dancer and more! Two of my characters are dead (Knot and Zara) and some of them have barely been developed.

It's a great site for creative freedom, and with treasure chests and even site lore, there are lots of options to support your character development.

I really like the clean lines of your art for Altorio. Also my battle pet has almost hit level 300, and I still struggle with battling! It's got a lot to do with what weapons you have access to, I think! Keep up with your training - it's worth it!

Absolutely. All of my pets have characters or have characters in process. Some of their profiles don't show much since I've been busy with RL stuff, but they'll have something up eventually.

That's awesome you guys. I came from neopets and giving your pets characters there was pretty rare. I'll be looking at you guy's pets and I'll comment on ones I like! ^^

All of my pets are their own character, and I've written three of the stories so far. Khan, Azerjian, and Kaichu. They will all have stories when I'm done tho.

All my pets are Avatars for (mostly) human characters or gods. So all my "pets" have personality, individual characters and stories and will get art (a lot of them have allready art but a lot still need art).

All of my pets have very individual characters. Most of them are OCs from my stories, so of course they'd have their own characters. Of the other four, two are fanpets so they'd have characters too, one was my rl cat who DEFINITELY had a personality, and only one is totally new. He sort of has a personality too but his characterization isn't 100% firm in my mind. I have no doubt that something will emerge eventually, though. I can't imagine not giving characters to things. :)

For the record, all my Neopets had definite characters too. And... so did those of just about everyone I knew. Apparently I was not hanging out with the right sort of people, I didn't think it was that rare there.

The four pets I have at the moment are based off other characters of mine who are very close to my heart. They are originally from a fandom that I am in at the moment, but they are my babehs, and even if I fall out of that fandom, they will still remain.
