Hi there. As the title stares I need help with starting RPGs. Any guides , books, or tips you you would to a newbie ?

I think one of the best things you could do is keep an open mind (: It's really difficult to have a good RP if one person is stuck trying to push their own plot without any care for what the other person thinks.

Actually, roleplaying is a lot like being in a relationship. You can make things a lot easier on yourself if you keep in mind that the person you're writing with is also a human being with wishes and dreams and desires.
