i think there ought to be some way to code it so that, if you've already gotten the bumbus queen random event and have an unfinished/unused bumbus queen quest, you shouldn't be able to keep getting it. as far as i know, the quest does not expire so it will always be there until you actually do the quest, or quit. i've had that quest sitting there for months with no intention of doing it, but i'm keeping it just in case someone ever wants me to make one of their pets a bumbus. and every so often i still get another random event of bumbii 'summoning' me to the blue building. i just got it twice in the past five minutes alone! it's pretty annoying because it's like, i already have that quest available, and i KNOW i have it, you don't need to keep reminding me, so stop giving me the RE, you know?

well the thing about ice king is that you only have a short window of opportunity to fight him after getting the event, so if time runs out and you didn't fight him, or you've already fought him, then there's no issue with getting the event multiple times so you can fight him again. the difference with the bumbus queen is that once you have the quest, there's no time limit, so there's no reason to have a random event to 're-activate' it until you've either quit or finished the quest.

the bumbus RE is really annoying when you know the event is just sitting there waiting for you to make up your mind, though. D: I think it's because they have short attention spans XD

I lost count how many times I tried to catch a Maliss. If there's a Malisstrap in the MC, I'd gladly buy it so I can have my little pile of comatose Maliss.

I see a random event I dont want or care about, I just refresh. The ones I would like to see more of are the amulets and the Oracle.

I've gotten the ice king I don't know how many times and the Bumbus have summoned me a lot too and that darn Maliss, but I don't think they should be messed with. They're random events. If we tone then down we may as well tone down all of them and I don't want that to happen because it's hard enough to find subq invites/amulets/coins etc.

i'm not suggesting the probabilities be messed with, i'm only suggesting that you shouldn't be able to get the bumbus RE if you already have a bumbus quest active because there's no point.
