I think that this is something that is greatly needed. I just got my box today and while there was a confirmation ensuring that I wanted to open it, there was none to confirm your selection. I was greatly surprised at this. I think that each totem should have its own custom confirmation popup (are you sure you want the ________ totem?) letting you know exactly what totem you clicked on so that you can make sure that you clicked the right one. This is an even easier mistake to make if on a phone or tablet and even easier if in a moving vehicle as you're shaking around a lot more and your hand isn't as steady.

If there's no alert for deleting your box there should also be one implemented. And in great big flashing lights and sirens. Exaggeration here but it should feature a popup that says WARNING!!! Do you want to delete your Loyalty Box??? in big bold red letters or something to make it different from the regular popup notification. Maybe even a different style of popup box.

At any rate, confirmation for loyalty totem selection please! There's no going back once you make your selection and Staff in the past won't change anything Loyalty Box-wise so the added security with the confirmation popup would be brilliant!

No support, like for every single confirmation.

This can be avoided by double-checking before clicking.

iirc the different types of totems are named + explained on the Open box page (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, it's been like 4 months since I got a box and I have shit memory). If that's the case I don't think a confirmation is needed. If it's not, then yes there should be one (or the page should be changed).

Also yes there's a confirmation for deleting the box.

No support. There could be a whole lot less confirmation on Subeta and it would be an improvement. This isn't neopets where there are four year olds playing and you need to make allowances for that.

A loyalty totem isn't just any item and you should treat it carefully exactly for what it is: a once a year chance. All of the totems you get give you something nice that you wouldn't be able to get otherwise, and they're still nice.

I misclick things occasionally and confirmations don't really hurt anyone, I don't see why we can't have an alert saying '"are you sure you want to get the blahblah thing?"

I'm going to use my old User Admin experience to tell you a thing

People don't read confirmation boxes.

It happened regularly that people were all "I accidentally deleted my shop and lost all my items", yet you really had to get out of your way, and had two confirmations warnings that all of your items would be lost.

When you're excited to get a new loyalty box, you are all hype because YAY STATS! or YAY, ANGELIC PET, you're all on adrenaline and hyped, you're not in the state of mind where you're going to pay attention to that confirmation box. And, since you're so happy and excited, well, if you don't check yourself, you'll burn yourself.

Yeah, it won't hurt anyone to have a confirmation, but it will also not solve anything. People are still going to be reckless and ignore the confirmation.

Staff, give me a loyalty box so that I can check my theory. Give me 10 because small sample size and all

I am sure not everyone will click through it right away. If it helps 2 people avoid choosing the wrong thing, is that so bad? I don't see that as a reason to not do this. If they accidentally click the wrong thing + click through a confirmation, I feel a lot less sorry for them than if they just click the wrong thing and boom they're stuck with it.

In general the box is kinda challenging, first you need to be careful not to click on the delete item and then to choose very carefully what you want.. too many obstacles for a gift...

so they can simply make it a transformed item, and let the users change it how much they want until they use the totem... and remove the delete item option.. Less tickets, less sad and angry users..

I don't see why not.

On a side note, don't open your loyalty boxes while being on a moving vehicle.

There is a confirmation for deleting and a confirmation for choosing to open the Loyalty Box.

The organization on the page where you choosse the benefit you wwaant could use a lottof polishing. I don't think it needs a confirmation though

This.

I've been surprised that there was no confirmation for Loyalty Box Items. I tried being on the safe side by waiting almost 1 minute until I picked my Item from it to prevent the site from "jumping" and resulting in me clicking the wrong Item.

(Also I looked at the Items the whole time to make sure I click "Pet Slot Totem" because I know myself and my "luck"... XD)

That being said, I don't see a problem at all with this suggestion.

I say remove the delete option from the loyalty box altogether-I mean you already cant sell it, not even sure you can move it out of the inventory, except for deleting it- (that's one problem solved) and perhaps changing it to a transformable(like the espergile) like someone said would be a good option as well..that way until you use it, you have the choice to possibly change your mind(like say when I first get it I wanna change my UN, but I don't do it right away, and a few days later I decide I want a pet slot instead for a new pet I came up with) I dont feel enough people would honestly read the confirmation pop-up on choosing the item though

The other option is simply to just check that what you want is actually what you got. Confirmations rarely work for the plain and simple reason that as Sopheroo stated people rarely check.

I don't think the delete option needs to be removed - it was already moved several lines away from the open option last time a thread like this came up.

I can get behind the totems being transformable though

Yes to confirmation, although I don't mind if there'll never be one added. I just try to be very very careful

I would rather not have yet another confirmation added. I hate those popups.

[edit] I would not mind however if the totem was transformable like mentioned above.

I'm good with a confirmation being added. I've had trouble with clicking the wrong thing because my browser window jumped as I was clicking. Not happened with the loyalty box but a confirmation would just make sure clicking on the object was what I meant to do and I don't lose my choice because of a browser glitch.

I don't think anyone will pay attention to the warning, honestly. I do like the idea of all of the items being transformable, though, and I think that change would beneficial all around.

Yeah, I'd be cool with it if they were transformable. Not so keen on pop-ups cause tbh everywhere there's a pop-up onsite I've gotten used to just clicking and instantly hitting enter. They really don't make any difference.

Looking to buy this!
