I am so sorry if this dosen't belong here! i just started replaying a few days ago after 4-5ish years and i do not remember much.

Ok so, when i hover over an item to preview it to my avatar, if its a hair item like a wig or something my avatar hair will still show up in the preview? and before a few days ago i dont believe it was doing that? (till i resaved my avatar and changed my hair and hair color and stuff a few days ago i dont think it was doing this) my avatar also shows up as naked with just my avatar hair when i preview clothes it just shows that item, and i thought it use to show my clothed avatar and how that item would look with what i was already wearing a few days ago? i could be mistaken but im not sure? is that normal? and when i preview a background it cuts off the hair at the shoulders and just shows like the naked avatar silhouette with the background?

Here is what i kind of mean? is that normal or did i save wrong or?

Also i have a question if an item exists, as i said i only started replaying a day or so ago so i havent been able to make it through all the items yet but on another site i go on they have an item that looks like this, the closest ive found so far is the i dont need the hairstyle but the way its colored like 3 tones like ice cream with vanilla strawberry and chocolate. i was just wondering if thats an item and if you could direct me to it.

If I remember correctly, default and salon hair always shows up on previews (just like default eyes/noses/mouths) while wigs (and all other items) do not. Given your preview example, I would assume that's your problem.

As for a Neapolitan hair style, there's the , although good luck finding one given it seems to be a limited release Custom Wearable. I'm not finding any others, but someone might know better than me. You could also try commissioning someone to make a custom hairstyle for you (or make it yourself if you're artistically inclined), but that might be more time/effort/money than you're willing/able to expend.

Thank you! maybe i just didnt notice since before this hair it was shorter? i still dont think i remember the avatar being naked but ive only been on for a day or so, so i could easily be mistaken. it just seems weird when i try to preview different hair that i can see the other hair under it.

im reading through the custom clothing guidelines right now, do they redraw the items? and does it cost anything to submit the item? i cant find anything on the page about that?

I've never commissioned a custom wearable before, so I'm afraid I can't tell you much. I'm about 99% sure they don't allow redraws or recolors of preexisting Subeta items. Also, it does cost money/CSC (quite a bit if I remember correctly. $40-$50, maybe?) and you have to have at least 10 copies, so I think people usually commission a custom wearable, take "orders" to fill up the requires slots, and then divide the cost between however many people to get the funds necessary to pay for the item (usually 500CSC or so, I think). But again, you'll want to double check with someone more familiar with the Custom Wearable process. My knowledge is mostly hearsay and may be out of date.

My recommendation would be to hang out around the Custom Clothing forum and get a feel for what's required there.
