I noticed that there are hairstyles in the salon that are locked. I would like to learn how I can unlock them for use. If anyone could help me make my avatar look amazing, I'd appreciate it!

Most of them come from items known as Hair Coupons, from the Cash Shop.

There are a couple that you can just buy flat-out from the Salon for about 10 million sP; those have a button underneath with the price on it.

10million?? How do you even get that much sp? Kind of a pay to play?

If you do your quests every day you can earn that much in a week or less. If not, it still won't take that long haha. The ones buyable for 10m directly in the wardrobe were from an event, they were brought back for like 100x the price for those who want the hairstyles but missed the event. And the hair coupon/Delish ones sell for 250 CSC each when available in the Cash Shop, which is generally around ~10m more or less anyway

honestly 10 mil is roughly about ~ten days of play if you do most of your quests or even some games, the only thing you have to pay for with irl money is csc to get cash shop items but really, if you save up sp you can get csc from users ( see; and other increments ) once you get the hang of things, generating sp in order to save up 10mil for a hairstyle isn't that hard, still a decent chunk of sp but it's not as daunting then.

long before these "fancy" hairstyles were couponed or CWed there only was default set of default hairstyles useable at the Hair Salon. With proper streaking and complementary outfits, you can make yourself a very nice HA without paying to play or worrying about your sP-budget. There's no time limit on the salon, so it can be fun to just play around with it.

Right, cod course, I've been a user for about three years now. I'm just looking to explore my options. Thanks so much you guys. I'd also like to know where I can get a better variety of clothing items.

If you're looking to buy hair coupons at a discounted price, check the Advertising Forum or make a thread in the Wanted Forums.

You can get items discounted anywhere from 20% to 60%, which is the range of discounts I've seen. The common forum discount seems to be 30% off items.

It's a really good way to get or sell expensive items!

i find playing around in the "all items on subeta" section of the beta wardrobe (with the "no CW items" filter selected) to be a good way to find cool clothes. you can even search by color, though it's not perfect, by selecting an item in the color you want and then clicking the color swatch that shows up in the sidebar; this will display other items that have that color, though again, it doesn't always work perfectly and will often leave out a few items or sometimes include items that aren't really what you're looking for.

Of course if you see an avatar you really like don't hesitate to ask the user what they're wearing. Most folks love it when someone likes their HA enough to ask about it.

It can be hard to save sP when there are so many lovely things on site. I'm trying to save up for a at 50,000,000sP in user shops But buying csc for all those lovely cash shop items and CWs eat up my millions like candy. sigh.
