ok i'm not really good at writing posts like this AT ALL, i'm sorry. it's just been a long time since i've roleplayed and i really enjoy it an have a good amount of free time & it's the summer so that's a plus. i'm going to separate this post into sub-sections or whatever. i hope my lazy, 2am typing isn't off-putting to anyone, either. i am a decent writer when i am trying to be, but right now i'm just in the mood to get this post up so i can meet other roleplayers.

about arkin

i'm 20 years old, not currently in school but i am working part time.
i tend to be reasonably active with a rp, but i do have a decent amount going on in my life outside of the internet.
i'm transgender. not sure if it's relevant but i'm listing it because i can.
mmmm can't think of much else to share, though i don't mind talking with rp partners and actually prefer it. it's nice to get alone with & know my rp partner.

i use the word rules loosely.

anyway, as much as my writing style in this post might lead you to think otherwise, i prefer fairly well written replies. not picky or searching for a literary prodigy, but a lot of typos and improper grammar bothers me.

i do not rp female-identified main characters, but i will rp femme guys & nb characters.

i don't have a lot of limits, but i do have some: abuse, self harm. probably more but i can't think of them and they would be extremes anyhow.

seeking/genres

+ m/m, mxm, however you abbreviate it. i like romance& more, including various types of relationships between characters.

+anything sci-fi/future related. i LOVE futuristic roleplays. a good example of the sci-fi i like would be the mass effect games.

+hair metal bands. this might be oddly specific, but i just have a thing for hair metal. i will admit i don't know a whole lot of specific songs/bands/etc, but i enjoy the music genre & the vibe of the concerts a lot.

+demons??? i'm not sure how to be specific with that but i guess i don't have anything specific in mind.

+historic settings: 30s boxers, "old time gangsters"/mob, 30s/40s ivy league boys. i'm not extremely well versed in specifics of these time periods but i do look into things when i'm uncertain.

can't think of anything else, but i'm very open to suggestions.

WON'T DO:
+fandoms, generally. probably some exceptions.

+recycled characters. i guess how i would explain this is a character used in different roleplays repetitively. i tend to make new characters for every roleplay because i like the creative outlet and i don't like my characters being disposable or what have you.

can't think of any genres/ideas i am not open to, so feel free to suggest anything.
