I honestly forgot that this was a thing -- I feel like a bunch of things are missing alerts, but I guess it would be nice to add alerts to things for which it would be useful.

I always keep the page open and refresh every few minutes. I suggest you do the same!

Ugh, if I have more than one tab open at a time my computer slows to a crawl and the refresh gives me nothing but the Circling Arrow of DOOM. (Duh...duh...da...doom, sound effect optional) But seriously, I would so love a "you can fish again" alert for this!

One might argue that if everyone fished as often as possible, the shops would soon be flooded with fish and they would be worthless ;) But I agree, an alert would be nice, I just think the wait between catches should then be much longer. The super short waiting time made sense during the plot, not anymore.
