I've never heard of anything like Kimchi before, to be honest. xD But yeah, the artwork of the Items is really nice and I love the river market they made for it. So wonderful. :D
I was so excited about the kimchi, too! Now we need a kimchi fried rice item, too, since that's the most delicious thing ever. (Can we just have more Korean food items in general?)
And yesss, the vegetables are SO gorgeous! I'm debating collecting them. :)
WHAT
It is soooo yummy, its a Korean staple - spicy, fermented cabbage that you can eat with anything and everything! Have you tried any Korean food before?
ugh yes. kimchi bap. bibimbap. bulgogi. ddukguk. samgyeopsal. korean food is the shit

I'm not really interested in Asian cuisine except for a few Indian things (and even in that case my knowledge is pretty limited) so I think that might be the reason why I don't know Kimchi. X'D
(Though if it's spicy I might even like it... haha.)
I really like that he has different things, like "hey, this is what I picked today."
loving this as well!:D new food items for my pet
I think the only thing I'd change is that he can have three random items, yes, but different random items for everyone, so that people that are asked for Bok Choy in IH don't instalose because there are none onsite.
But yeah, I love his shop
When I saw the Kimchi I actually flinched, remembering the smell. I had a boss for eight years that was from Bhutan and had a wife from China, and he'd always have a tub of kimchi in the back of the fridge. SO. GROSS. I tried it, couldn't do it. Maybe because it's cabbage. But I can appreciate that it's something millions of people enjoy and that it makes sense to add to the site.
But seriously ew.
It's like spicy pickles. Either you like it or you don't ;)
Whoa nelly, while kimchi that has fish paste (or whatever) in it smells like hot dumpster, I never expected to crave it after my Korean roommate left. I now keep my fingers crossed when we go to an asian buffet because I can't put my tiny apartment through the kimchi smell again XD
There's lots of different kinds of kimchi and some of them are quite pretty. I'm hoping we get more varieties. But this item we have is pretty cool!
My husband makes an absolutely great kimchi. No fish, but he uses wonbok, bokchoi, daikon, and maui onions..., and of course his pepper garlic sauce that he won't even divulge the recipe to me.
Dang, now I'm gotta go drag the kimchi-pot out of the fridge, this is making me hungry! Gee thanks Subeta.
