I was wondering perhaps if there could be a filter to eliminating custom wearables in shop searches.

I have often wanted to have a theme mostly for my pet's treasure chest items and I type one word in then it seems like a bunch of CW items jump up in my search before something I can actually consider for my pet's treasures box.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Now it would just be an option. Those who wanted to be able to keep custom wearables in their searches would be able to search all.

Have you heard of Subeta Lodge? You can search items there using a keyword and get a list, you can filter them down to "Original items" which is official subeta items only, no CWs

I don't really see a need for this. It's not like all the items get suggested anyway, so unless that gets changed then it would just be far, far easier to use Subetalodge.

How about no. Subeta shouldn't stop improving just because there's a fansite.

I think it would be beneficial if the shop search function had some advanced options (maybe a GA perk idea?) like filters and what not. I agree with the opinion that just because Subeta Lodge is available doesn't mean Subeta itself still can't be improved upon.

Seeing as everything has specific rarities and what not I don't see why it couldn't be done. I don't feel like it's priority but I still think it's a great idea.

I feel like it would be pointless to add extra filters to shop search, since shop search really isn't what you should be using to find items anyway. Not all items that fit even get suggested in the drop down, and then if you want to see what the item images and other details besides just the item name are you have to search each thing one at a time. I really don't get why anyone would use this method to find items to fit a TC? I always saw the drop down in shop search functioning more like an autocomplete sort of thing than actual "you might like this" suggestions.

If we're going to be implementing filtered searches it would make more sense to add them to the item directory or search subeta which are the more appropriate tools to use if you are looking for an item for other purposes than to just purchasing something you already know you want.

Actually, search subeta seems like it could already sorta work for solving the custom wearable problem (it doesn't show items above R150, so R200 custom wearables won't show)...the only shortcoming being that your also missing out on some other items like R160 game prizes.

The item directory seems to show all but custom wearables and staff items, but admittedly isn't a great search tool since the only filters are by name or time added, and the actual search box requires the exact name find an item for you.

I don't think "use Subetalodge" is a good suggestion as there really should be a better search tool on-site. Simplest way would probably be opening up search subeta to show higher rarities, but with added filter options so that you could filter out custom wears if you want to. Ultimately, I would love to see the item directory revamped into something more functional since you'd think something called an item directory should be the go-to place to look for items, but in its current state it's really hard to find anything using it. :/

I use the shop search to find new items because those other two features are not helpful. The item directory seems to require an exact name and the search doesn't seem to display a lot of items that exist.
