I want to first start off this post by saying that this initially started with a single suggestion, but I'm not entirely sure what the BAs want the Battle Shop for and I don't always picture the big meta game picture, so I would love if this could maybe be a collaborative thread to hopefully give more examples of items that users need and want that could work in the Battle Shop.

Unless I'm missing anything we basically get an addition to the shop like once a year and I'd love it if we could at least get some seasonal updates or items. 2013 2014 2015

1. I personally would love to see more scroll related things. At one point I was going to suggest that inflated/retired scroll items could go in the battle shop but then a few of them got unretired and I didn't bother, but I still think certain scroll items could make their way into the shop. Unicorn Horn and Sands of Time tend to stay expensive and I'd suggest putting them in for something like 50 Very/Extremely Hard tokens or something, just any price that would make them worth buying to use rather than trying to resell (like the Parched Bags), which I think is the main issue with releasing restock-able items into the shop. Unique Scrolls in general would be great, though. I have no use for Galeforce, but I could definitely see myself buying a scroll if it blocked an icon I was missing or something.

2. Although unlikely, I'd also love Shriek of Despair Scrolls to make their way in at like 150-200 Impossible Tokens per scroll. I think it's at a price where it'll keep serious battlers actively battling as well as give them something to spend their Impossible tokens on as right now anyone earning them up after getting a Mecha is just saving up and up and up. And with a price like that, I think it'd be worth it and I can't really imagine anyone earning all those tokens for the sake of reselling the Shriek.

3. One other thought I had was if an opponent(s) actually got released through the Battle Shop. Not much to this suggestion beyond that, just dudes fighting dudes to earn the right to fight more dudes.

4. Possibly add Pylonics and other "Potions" section items that are 1 equip per battle. With the merging of elixirs into the Apothecary I haven't really been able to get any of the items I previously got there for battling.

Just something to give users a reason to spend their tokens is all I want. Last year we had seasonal opponents where combining the weapons won from a pair of challengers resulted in a new weapon. It would have been nice to either release a new component in the Battle Shop or utilize the components already in there to be required to combine the weapons. Even if we have a yearly update, it'd be really appreciated if that update had another build-able weapon. Earning those is still one of the funnest things I've looked forward to while battling.

Ideally I'd also suggest a bunch of ideas for new Crystals as they are one of the best sinks of tokens since some opponents require you to switch them around occasionally, but it seems they've been abandoned. No matter, despite my more adventurous suggestions in this OP, I do think overall the Battle Shop can and should get items more frequently or just acknowledged when weapons do get released, like the shotgun trio could have had one released in the Battle Shop.

All of these sound like great ideas! I'd like to see more boosters myself - especially anything that boosts intel - now that restocking boosters from the Apothecary has become a complete joke. I'd also like to see another base weapon we can use the Components with. Just more new weapons in general!

I would love it if the battle shop had more attention paid to it, seems like it is often forgotten about.

I'd love to see more items like the components, where you build them into something stronger. Scrolls would be nice too. I don't think I'd ever buy a single pylonic with battle tokens, but I do hate how apothecary was changed, dark potions and pylonics are hardly in there now.

I would really like to see alternate blessing/curse tears/baguettes really, to add some more interest :)

I'd be more than okay with all of this happening, especially the idea about being able to buy challengers with battle tokens. which could maybe also be an answer to people wanting a chance to fight old retired challengers, but staff not wanting to devalue loot with re-releases. Yes to more scrolls too please. Because scrolls.

Oh maybe add some books, Intel boosters, yes to more scrolls and more components.

I support battle shop challengers you can buy. Maybe use their loot to combo with components to make new weapons or unlock stronger challengers. Anything really!

Those are some great suggestions. Implementation might even get me interested in battling again.

Only, about the Shriek, if something like that did make an appearance, I feel like the price would need to be even higher. I've got 341 tokens now after buying two mechas. At the rate tokens drop in BQs now, 2-3 a day would mean you could get a new Shriek every 2-3 months.

I'd very much like to have some challengers available through the battle shop though.

If something like a Shriek was added it would need to be a one-off purchase I think. But to be honest I was kind of hoping they would get unretired this year, I feel kind of bad for all the new top tier battlers that haven't had a chance to get any - I only have 4 freezers (ignoring lower chance like Gelaspell and the high AP Voids) and still got my arse handed to me by some challengers in the past.

I agree the Apothecary really sucks nothing but potions the majority of the time now. MORE BOOSTERS!!!

I was one of those that could not get a Shriek, and I would love one...I do agree with Archer, the price should be higher than say 200 imp tokens, since token drops are really common now. I would even go as high as 500(just throwing out a number). Give me something to work towards.

I am in agreement with just about all of the ideas, as I do not have any impossible tokens yet but I really see no need for them because the shop is so limited on what to do with them.

The potions/pylonics situation is really a joke. Maybe they could let us use tokens to buy and equip them by the case.

Im curious to see how many tokens people have just lying around.

I forget the battle shop even exists and I have over 2k tokens sitting around. :c I'd love to see any or all of this happen!
