Ive never thought about battling till recently. its always been confusing to me (even on neo) but I decided to pick it up and try my best because it not only looks fun but is pretty much necessary for plots (if you want the cool items that is).

I only have a dark matter rod and angelic wand in my armory and thats it. dont know what else to buy, equip, or what stat boosters to give my pets. ive just been training them in riverside, which is a little too slow.

[-Disease] I always look here and here for weapon advice stat boosters shouldn't be used in early tiers, any you get should probably be vaulted for later. training is very fast compared to later tiers. certain opponents drop stat boosting eggs when you defeat them 5 times, which can only be used in t1-3 so you can use these. don't forget to do battle quests too, use that exp you gain from those every day, it adds up quickly :)

[-Disease] neo battling was confusing to me too. not sure if it was cause i was too young to understand or what xD but anyways, i find subeta battling simpler and more fun :)

also pretty much what said. you'll advance the early tiers quickly if you do those! remember to read as many books as you can to your pet too to get APs for scrolls

sadly the eggs actually only work on T1-3

I wasn't sure if it was 1-3 or 1-4, I'll edit my post so it's right. I don't think I've ever used the eggs since my pets were too high when they came out lol

thanks a lot! I tried a battle quest and lost :( even though the opponent was easy I guess my pet was too weak. I auto trained its health and now Im auto training his defense so hopefully that helps me. I really just needed weapon and spell advice. the scroll thing I still dont get though
