My left ear, otherwise known as the bitch attached to the left side of my head, is completely stopped up/clogged and has been for two days now. WHILE I'M AT WORK. I'm usually able to put some hydrogen peroxide in and stick a cotton ball in there for a couple hours and then when I take it out, it's clear again. NOPE, not this time my friend (you'll be in lockdown by 10 - HAPPIES if you understand that rofl). BUT ANYWAYS, my next step is to squirt hot-ish water mixed with peroxide up in there and hopefully that'll clear it. I hate doing that though because it always feels like it's coming out my eyes, which is weird, but true. It's just a squicky feeling. If that doesn't work though, I'll have to go into the doctor. Ugh. So let's just hope that works or it suddenly goes POP and clears on its own. I have a form of rosacea in both ears that causes this flare up sometimes and I hate it with a fiery passion.

SO WHAT'S PISSING YOU OFF RIGHT NOW?! :D

Don't put peroxide, it's a bad idea. I usually use oil (mineral or even olive I kid you not) for a few days and then go to see the nurse who shoots water gently and it all goes out. Most nurse can do the job instead of asking a doctor. Also, it's lukewarm water and not "hot-ish" c:

Peroxide is perfectly fine. That's what the doctor uses. And it's not lukewarm. Lukewarm is...like room temperature. Hot-ish is hot, but not quite too hot.

I guess it's personal opinion. However, the hot water is a bad idea. You have more chance to hurt yourself and harm your ear with hot water. If you make the wax more maleable and less compacted, you'll be able to move it with the water just fine. It's just from what I've learned. Good luck with it c:

You can't get rosacea in your ears. Are you sure it's not psoriasis? I have that in my ears, behind my ears, in my belly button, my butt crack and on my elbows and knees.

Hope your ear clears up! I had an ear infection two years ago and it sucked.

You can get it in your ears, actually. It's very rare, but it can happen. In fact, I'm one of only a few cases in Michigan. Pictures of my ears (lol) have been part of a couple of medical conferences this year in fact. So...yay..or something. XD
