Okay so this is a big thing for me. Tons of my friends have cosplayed and I have been super jealous of it because Ive never been able to afford it or pull anything off with my body shape. I have some ideas of what I want to cosplay as, and I am hoping that I can have some fellow people guide me in this time of need. lol as cheesy as that sounds :P . This is what I look like, its not a flattering pic but it shows the shape of my body better than any other pic i have.

What would you like to cosplay?

I can think of a couple characters I think you could pull off well.

Zarya (Overwatch) Ms Litchi (Blaz Blue)

Are you opposed to Crossplaying? I could probably think of a couple Male characters as well.

- I was thinking either a game character or an anime character. but i dont know. I had a feeling for kingdom hearts heartless one of the many i could choose from

- I am not opposed of course. I do not know those characters but i shall look them up and take a peek :3

- You should go as whoever you want really. As long as you make the role yours you should be okay.

What are some of your favorites? Animes or games?

I don't know if you've read it or not but the main character of the webcomic Nimona is not only a great character but would probably fit your build (and haircut, at least as the picture shows it!). If not/you're not interested, the comic is still worth a read.

Anime: Naruto, Soul eater, Cowboy bebop... not a lot really. Games: King of fighters, Kingdom hearts, Spyro, Street fighter... again not many, but i know there is a lot of options to chose from.

As far as expense goes goodwill, some basic sewing knowledge, and hot glue can go a long way. I made an entire gender-swapped Han Solo costume with hot glue and clothes from the thrift store. It also pays to check garage sales, remnant bins in fabric stores, and hardware stores. If you keep your eyes open you can find all sorts of cheap materials
