There are literally hundred of cults on the list that only have one member (the creator) and their accounts no longer even exist. This makes it difficult for new users to find an active cult to join. Would it be possible to clear out the cults that literally just take up space so that maybe the ones of us who would like to create an active cult per our interests could do so? The last cult I joined looked nice, but only one person had even posted in it in the last 5 years :/

If there is a better forum to post this in, I'd be glad to move this post elsewhere. Also, I know it wouldn't be an easy job so I understand why it hasn't been done already. Just a suggestion that I feel would better the site.

Also, just a question from the uninformed, why can we not currently make new cults? Is it because of the over populace? I have led/ been an active member in many cults (or the sites equivalent) over the last decade and I have always very much enjoyed creating a fun and active environment for my cult members. I would very much like to do this on Subeta as well. Any education you have for me on this would be great and appreciated. Thanks much :)

I know a cult revamp is supposed to be happening at some point (near or far..) in the future, but I think clearing out cults with one member who's account is up for clearing is a great idea. Surely that data is taking up space somewhere so it would probably help in some small way to have them gone.

I am surprised Cults haven't been removed from Subeta entirely tbh. They are yet another VERY neglected feature that staff has been "working on" for years and yet nothing changes.

WOOOOOOOOOWW!! 2 yrs ago suggestion and nothing happened. There are already alternative places cults have moved to, cults forum or offsite forums. I'm not sure why we still have that old page and system. I wonder if its as outdated in coding as smail is. Wait, battling coding is more recent right? or is that old too?

lol, we have 3 wardrobes now. One old one, one beta(which isn't really working well) and a new one thats mostly errors saying you don't have permission. So yeah, were really on the right track to the future now.

That's really sad that so much of the site is broken and isn't being fixed. I still love the site and the fact that we still manage to have new updates and events so often, but I do feel like working on certain older things that are broken would benefit the site more than totally new features like games. I don't know anything about running a site like this so my complaints will remain minimal, just some friendly feedback on the forums.

From what I heard, the forum revamp was the first step to getting the cult system working properly again. I know Keith and the team are really busy trying to get the new wardrobe working, so the cult system is still on the back burner, but I'm confident that they'll be able to do something about it. At the very least, there are too many people on the site that are super invested in their cults for them to scrap the system entirely. I myself am eager to start my own cult, but I can't do it until the system is fixed.

That being said, I think clearing out old, inactive, or empty cults is a fantastic idea. Any cult that has no members or any cult whose only member(s) are inactive or frozen users should be cleared. It will free up not only server space but all those old cult names as well.

I would really like to join one tbh. As I always love to try new things and get to chatting with even more peeps. But im in no rush really ~
