I tried to look up a Marsh Kumos Elixir... but I can't find one?

Was this item meant to exist and it was just overlooked? Or was there something about the elixirs which I just don't know about?

Doesn't exist, you're correct. I'm not sure if it was forgotten (though I'd assume so), but it certainly doesn't seem to make sense to me that a Marsh Potion costs millions, but many other elixirs are a tiny fraction, yet this is apparently the only surefire way to get a Marsh Kumos.

very odd, it seems there isn't one for the feli either, and possible some other species as well. but there are marsh elixirs for many other species! how strange.

Marsh is a color for which there weren't all that many Elixirs to start with. That there are as many as there are now is because over time more of them do (eveuntually, slowly) get released. I'm an old-timer and I wouldn't have expected so many.

Egads, the current price of Marsh potions is pretty fucked up. Potions of that rarity plop into the Apothecary fairly frequently, like six times a month. And that one's not in much of a demand. No way will whoever made the price that high is going to recoup their costs. Hang on awhile and the price will drop to something more reasonable.

most if not all potions are at least a bit inflated right now, because of all of the pet slot additions. Lilac potion is in shop search for 1.25m :o

When the price for something goes up, it's not always because someone is hoarding them to resell for profit.

Ah, I had forgotten that. Me, I always grab the color I want before I add the slot because that is usually much cheaper than the slot itself, so I didn't even think of it really. My apologies, my reaction here was maybe a little over the top.

Maybe the price won't drop any time soon after all.

It's not because of the pet slot additions, because I can confirm that every single colorfill potion was less than 500K before the plot. People didn't rush to get Lilac and Marsh pets.

Usually when this happens, it is because the color didn't exist when the elixirs were drawn. Most times, it will be added when the elixir is revamped.

It happens with Golden sometimes too.
