I'd like to get rid of the gradient on the profile DIVs, and just make the background actually transparent, the code is super simple but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to make the DIVs transparent.

Also, Can someone please tell me the standard size for backgrounds? I thought i sized it to the correct size when making it but apparently i didnt and i have no idea how to make it fit the screen without using the XXXpx by XXXpx code to stretch the image, which made it right on my pc but not at all on my tablet. I Have the ability to resize it if anyone knows the 'standard' size i can use to make the background fit the page without repeating.
