If I change my HA, will it remain faded? I recently obtained some rather nice items I'd like to use, but I don't want to ruin the effect. On a similar note, will it be faded in the wardrobe?

I'm hoping the answer will be the logical 'no, it won't affect the HA, but it won't be visible in the wardrobe' because that just makes sense to me, but if not, well. We'll see.

It won't show up as faded in the Wardrobe but if you change it the effect will stay; just changed about half an hour ago and it's still faded.

Alright, just an update - the fading seems to be doing odd things to my Keith's Bottled Angst, I have reason to believe it's not quite working properly with the transparency. I don't mind leaving it like that - and I get the feeling it'd be fixed if I put in a background anyway - but just thought I should mention it.

I agree, the faded HA's are weird. I want my colors back. :( However, it is not deathly important I suppose, so whenever it gets fixed, then yay. -but still I like playing with my colorful HAs and I need my fix-

yea, i was just about to ask why my HA looked all washed out, can we change this at all or is this just going to be the new HA?

I just noticed it had changed this morning, i tried changing around my HA some and adding a new bg etc, nothing is changing the faded look.

It's part of the new event that will be starting soon. It likely won't be permanent, and will probably go back to normal at some point during the event or once it's over.

Just wanted to add that the glitch with the items isn't due to the grey HAs. People have been having issues like that since before the event started

I don't think it was quite as bad to begin with but people have been noticing fuzzy edges on their HAs and now all of a sudden certain items are leaving gaping black holes behind the HA. But I'm pretty sure I saw a user that had the holes before her HA started to fade

I made some tab bookmarks on the side a while back. They disappeared a few months ago. Now, along with the faded avatar, they are back. ?????

I think those are two separate things. Keith mentioned in the Problems & Bugs board earlier that he pushed a fix to bring back disappearing bookmarks. The faded HA is related to a site event.

From what everyone can tell, they fade gradually over time until they are in full black & white. Yours still has a tinge of color here and there, so it's probably still got another stage of darkening.

No, they're definitely getting more faded. and I both noticed it too; I noticed that last night my current hair looked white but today it doesn't look like I have any color at all

I got the RE last night a little before midnight but I haven't gone grey yet. Is something wrong or does it take more time than that to change?
