Are you ready for a new challenge? Well ready or not, here it comes!
For anyone that missed me previously (though I don't know how - I'm everywhere!), my name is Miss Kain.
Now, I know we still have another HA Challenge going on right now, but I just got too excited to wait! So keep in mind that even though this one has started, HA Challenge - Going Back to Hogwarts ends tonight at 11:59PM!
What do you plan on choosing for a career when you leave Hogwarts? Now's your time to show your passions! With a human avatar challenge!
This week's theme is The Greatest Wizard Career.
So shed all of your Hogwarts and Muggle clothing, it's time to play with the big boys. From a Ministry official to a wandmaker to a Quidditch supplies shop owner, the choices are endless. What would be your dream wizarding career?
Some rules for this challenge: 1.) NO HOGWARTS ROBES. 2.) You must tell us what your wizarding career is in your post. 3.) NO MUGGLE CAREERS! (The exception to this would be if it's one that just happens to be a wizarding career as well--such as a shopkeeper that happens to sell items that Muggles use as well. For instance, Honeydukes! Everyone loves candy!)
Please add your name/character name and house to the end of your post - we are still learning your names!
Each member may only submit one avatar, and each avatar to successfully adhere to the challenge rules and theme shall be awarded 10 House Points!
This challenge will end on Thursday, August 13th at 11:59PM!
A note for this challenge: Since the share feature of the Wardrobe isn't currently working, please either wear your avatar or save it as an image and upload it to post here! I recommend either using tinypic.com or imgur.com if you don't want to make an account. If you want a place you can make an account at, I would recommend photobucket.com!

Unless you know what to look for, you won't notice that we're any different than the average witches and wizards. Our career is meant to be a secret to nearly everyone, but we all have things in common - short hair, form fitted clothing, a constant need to check our surroundings and evaluate everything about it...
Job: Hit Wizard (My take on one. I don't remember an actual description on their appearance, characteristics, etc.) Name: Destiny House: Slytherin
Name: Gaia House: Ravenclaw My favorite class is Herbology and Potions is such much fun! It makes sense that after traveling and learning is to open or work at an Apothecary! I would also volunteer as a herbs healer at St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.
It is my HA but I might have to edit the image later if the sickness thing catches up to me.

Name: Max House: Slytherin Job: Manager at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes
I´ve always been fascinated by useful objects and spells. And being a Slytherin I enjoy doing mischief. So I figured I´d help around and manage a joke shop.

Name: Alexandra Romanov House: Slytherin Job: Potions Mistress, Small Store Manager
I own and manage my own Potions Store, and am the retired Potions Mistress of Durmstrang Institute.

All those Care of Magical Creatures lessons really paid off.
Cleared by staff: Maximum height is 325px.

My name is Rose, and I'm in Hufflepuff.
My dream wizarding job would be to open up my own specialty plant shop in Diagon Alley. In addition to the standard potions ingredients and magical house plants, you will also be able to find rare herbs and interesting (read: dangerous) plants here!
Emma McMonigle - Hufflepuff House
I know that mum 'n dad always hoped I'd be a doctor like them. And I've heard of Healers--what wizards have instead of doctors--but I'm not quite certain that it's the path for me. Until I find what I want to do, I'm not discounting it as a possibility.
(( Is my actual HA at the present moment. ))
Name: Kendra Krum House: Hufflepuff Business: Kendra's Playground
"Welcome to Kendra's Playground, one and all. When you need a pet, give us a call. "

Poppy - Slytherin - Librarian
Access to spellbooks and other magical tomes is essential to witches and wizards.

Thana, current Slytherin student.
I know these are robes - but they're not just any robes, though!
These are the robes I would need to wear in my dream career, as a Potioneer.
Perhaps I might even invent a few spells in my lifetime?
Oh my, I hope no one takes a hit out on me! 10 points to Slytherin.
Very nice, Gaia! 10 points to Ravenclaw!
Excellent work! You have the uniform almost to a T! 10 points to Slytherin!
Very nicely done! 10 points to Slytherin!
How exciting! 10 points to Hufflepuff!
Aw, what a cute dragon! I won't let him fool me though, I'm sure he'll grow up to be huge! 10 points to Ravenclaw!
Oh, Rose, how lovely! I would love to learn more about the exotic plants you'd sell! 10 points to Hufflepuff.
Excellent work at the healer's uniform! 10 points to Hufflepuff!
Great job, Kendra! Oh my, I love the giant snail! Other than his size, is he magical? 10 points to Hufflepuff!
Nicely done, Poppy! Maybe Hogwarts will take you on after you graduate! 10 points to Slytherin!
Very nice, Thana! More of an experimental potioneer, I see! 10 points to Slytherin!
You look right at home there, Jim! 10 points to Hufflepuff!
You'll have to stop by and see someday, Miss Kain. I plan to offer specialties such as Chomping Cabbages, Fanged Geraniums, and even Venomous Tentacula (once I obtain the permits of course)! And of course I plan do a bit of experimental herbology on my own time - cross-breeding and the affects of certain charms on plants, among other things - so who knows what you may find in my shop in the future. ;)

Hello everyone, Beach, Ravenclaw student, here! I really would like to be a Professor and especially I would like to teach Transfiguration. In my dreams, one day I would like to be Head of Ravenclaw House and administer N.E.W.T.S. I would love to help students decide on and achieve their life career dreams!

I am assuming that there must be a library in the wizarding world aside from the library at Hogwarts. So my career is a Librarian with the library based out of Diagon Alley! House: Slytherin
Student Name: Alexa Bristow House: Hufflepuff Profession: Magic School Professor "I think the greatest profession is teaching, so I would want to be a professor at a school of magic. We have so much knowledge to share, and it's so rewarding to see your students do well. I hope to teach one day!"

Meg Hufflepuff Gringotts is home to so many treasures that they need a group of highly trained specialists in the area of curses and counter-curses. So that is what I would do; I would be a specialist in casting protective curses upon the treasures within Gringotts and well as counter-curses. I would also be essential in helping come up with new ways to catch thieves before they got through the doors leading to the front desk. (After the scandal of Harry Potter and his companions using polyjuice potion, Gringotts refuses to be humiliated like that again - you know how prideful goblins are!)
***** The Shared feature appears to not to be working properly so I uploaded to Imgur.

The moment I took my first flying lesson at Hogwarts, I just had to learn the secret to flight. I would honestly say my second year at Hogwarts was truly my favorite year; making the House team allowed me to expand my training. Day and night, I sought to perfect my speed, my balance, my senses. Through my hard work, I earned the title of captain in my sixth year. Although in my seventh year I was unable to play as often as before, I offered my advice and private trainings to any student who wanted to play or improve.
I graduated from Hogwarts with an offer to train under the Ballycastle Bats, where I spent a little over a year training with players I had once seen from the stands. From the Ballycastle Bats, I was eventually traded into the German branch of the Quidditch leagues, to the team I still play for to this day, the Harz Nachtreiter. My participation in three different leagues over the course of a few years really helped me in launching my career on the international level; when I'm not playing with Harz in individuals, I'm playing with German National Quidditch Team in internationals.
