So I have been having RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) for...maybe a month now and it's awful! At least, I'm fairly certain that's what it is...it's not itchy, creepy-crawly, or pins and needles...it's just that I need to move my legs and I can't get comfortable in bed or sitting in the car or wherever. It's just...a really uncomfortable feeling...like, I have to move. I thought that it started because I had started taking Biotin supplements and I saw on some reviews that Biotin can cause RLS. So I stopped taking it (I was taking it to help my hair grow faster) and I figured it'd go away once it was out of my system. But it's been almost a week now, and it hasn't gone away. So either it's not out of my system yet, or it's being caused by something else. There haven't been any other changes in my life that I can think of that would have caused this to come on. I'm doing some research online, but I thought I'd ask you guys what you think - see if anyone on here has it and would possibly have a fix for it that's worked for them.

I'm going to be going back to the gym (mainly because I need to lose weight) and I'm trying to eat healthier (less bad fat, sugar, caffeine) so I'm thinking that'll probably help. I'm also thinking about getting one of those big exercise balls for my desk at work if I can get my boss to let me keep it somewhere here. I change position in my chair a lot and get up and walk around my area here when I can.

I'm really hoping to find some kind of natural fix for it. I don't want to use medicines and chemicals if I can avoid them. I'm slowly switching my health/beauty products and foods over to as much natural and organic things as I can.

Anyways...fixes/cures for RLS? Experiences with it?

I have RSL in one of the most painful form. I always have both my legs jiggling, even at night (or I bend them). I get electric pinching right under the knee and it literally fucks you up. It's like a bunch of needles stab. I have to get up and massage the place while walking. I do not take any medication since it's located to one leg, but exercising regulary helped me a lot.

I'd love to now the answer to this too. I tend to shake my leg a lot when sitting in chairs but when I try to go to sleep, sometimes I get this horrible urge to move my leg and if I don't it feels borderline painful. I can't even describe it other than it sucks.

Oddly enough it comes and goes. I really wish I could pinpoint the cause.

I am so sorry you have to go through that. Mine seems to be letting up a bit knocks on wood either because I have started working out or because the biotin is getting out of my system...or maybe it's just a spell and it'll kick back up again (ha, kick back up, see wut I did thar?) but I hope it's done for. I'll let you know if I find anything that works for me, maybe it'll work for you too.

Right? 'It sucks' pretty much is as detailed as I can get too. Ah hates it.
