So I adopted this pet, Amri. Made him into an antlephore. Going to make him an overlay where he looks more like a 'real' deer with big antlers. Birdies and butterflies and such will be perched all over his antlers (or maybe just one - his eventual minion).

Not sure what kind of character though...definitely calm, prefers seclusion, nature-loving, quiet. As far as his treasure goes though, do I want to go with flowers and make his character plant flowers (digging the holes with his hooves lol) around and have a big garden on the outskirts of a forest that no one knows who planted it? Or should he sort of 'collect/attract' loads of birds who like his quiet nature and like to perch on his antlers? I like both ideas...kind of have the flower one more hashed out though.

Any other ideas for a deer character? Or what do you think?

seriously though, both ideas sound cute and i don't see why you couldn't incorporate them together.

I agree with Frenchi. You should do both. :) I think they work well together. And a majestic stag, prince of the forest... sort of thing is really cool. Gives me a bit of nostalgia for Bambi. xD

I agree with the others, both ideas would go well together so why not going that route? Secret gardens and birds fit eath other, maybe you could even make that especially ill and hurt birds come to him and he helps them to recover? (:
