If I were to do a giveaway, not a contest, where would a post it in the forums?

Also, when I create a post how can I ping my friends without having to ping them by name in the post, but if I have to is there a limit to how many I can ping at once?

i don't think there is a way to auto-ping your friends when creating a new topic, only when making a post on an existing topic. so you probably have to manually ping each friend, but if you don't want it to clutter the actual post you can always put the pings under a spoiler. you can also create a private forum group and have your friends join and that way you only have to do one ping to alert all of them.

and i don't believe there is a limit to how many people you can ping in one post.

Actually there is only like 10-12 names can be pinged at any given time if you wanna ping more you need to space the names from the @ symbol in order for other people to get the ping.
