Been thinking about getting another tattoo. After getting my paychecks from the music festivals I work as an EMT, I decided it was time. I went to my favorite tattoo parlor to make an appointment and the guy said he could do it right then because it was so quick. So, I got this beauty done for $60. It's a combination between Jared Padalecki's (Sam from Supernatural if you aren't familiar with him) motto and Project Semicolon (information on it if you haven't heard about here). Anyway, here it is: Always Keep Fighting tattoo. If you look closely, the first i in fighting is the semicolon.

Anyone else get any new tattoos or piercings? Ideas on future tattoos? Share them here! I do believe my next one is going to the Tardis.

Aw, it looks really nice! That was a really good idea to combine those two projects into one! I love the idea behind the semicolon tattoos, and they can be done so many ways.

No tattoos or piercings for me lately. My last tattoo was in January, and it's of my deceased cat's paw print with her name in cursive above it. I'm kind of itching to get another tattoo though (one with a bit of a happier meaning). I've got seven piercings, so I'm pretty good in that department for the moment, haha! I've got one side with two lobe piercings, and the other with only one, so I might get a second hole here soon.

That's so sweet. I would love to get my dogs paw prints on me but we're up to 7 (they are all small and we have the means to care for them). It would just be too much lol.

I've heard about it, but I have a really weird skin and I am afraid of getting a bad allergy or a rash turning into one. My mother suffers from depression and it's hard right now for us and for her.

I seriously love the whole idea of this! Beautiful script, and I absolutely adore the whole semi colon as an "I" in fighting. Probably the cutest tattoo I've seen in a long while, and it's amazing quality. Super jealous :)

Aw thank you so much. I'm so in love with it. The guy did a great job and I'm really happy to have it. The best part is that it didn't bleed and it's not itchy or anything.

Very cool! And oh my goodness, I have no idea anymore lol. I'm so indecisive and can't set my mind to one thing, so it's very hard. Plus, I get over things easily, so I don't want to be stuck with a stupid tattoo, you know? I've had plans to get a portrait of my dog Coco, and get her ink in the tattoo, but it's so hard to find a good dog portrait artist anymore.

I know what you mean I take months and think about it. I decide to get it when I haven't changed my mind about after a while. It is really hard though.

My family has a Coco too. She's a little yorkie. What kind is yours? And yeah, I'm sure it is. I would suggest looking around and asking people if you notice they have any elaborate work done. Plus, it's always a good idea to ask around before you go anyway. Word of mouth is the best type of advertisement.

Coco passed away about 3 years ago, and she was 9 years old and we had to put her down due to a stomach cancer she got. Hardest day of my life, because I got her when I was about 5 years old? (I'm 18 now, well tomorrow I will be!) She was a lhasa apso and dotson mixed, sweetest little girl! I know have my current dog, Bear who is about 2 years old that I got for free after Coco died. My friend gave me him for free, since I was grieving and lonely without my best friend. He's a yorkie as well, mixed with some chihuahua, but you can hardly tell.

And yeah, I think I'll do that. I just want to think more about it, because I think a portrait would look more... better placed when it's in a sleeve, you know? Just so I don't have a random dog tattoo on my arm.

I'm sorry for your loss. Putting a dog to sleep is near impossible. We lost our Molly to bone cancer three years ago and I still miss her.

Take your time thinking about. You have to live with it.

I recently got a new tattoo in February (which doesn't sound all too recent but I'm a busy mom, haha). It's three poppies that stand for remembering our fallen soldiers. I was inspired by the poem Flanders Fields. It's pretty beautiful. I'm not really able to provide a picture right now but it's so beautifully done. A little mix of traditional style and a little more realistic/new age thrown in there as well.

I would really like to get a small diamond (or crystal haha) piercing on my nose. But with my allergies, both seasonal and to nickel, I'm not sure it's a feasible idea. That, and even though I'm 31 years old, my mother would shit bricks, lol. I'd also love a tattoo, and I have several ideas for ones I think I'd like, but I change my mind so much, that it's probably not a good idea. But two of my current favorite ideas are the Sea Shepherd logo on the back of my neck and different species of whales/dolphins/sea creatures down my right arm. I would also like a kittycat somewhere, but I'm not sure where or what I'd want it to look like...I'm thinking a fusion of the colors of the three cats I've had thus far.

Trust me, I know how you feel. I have a job but I get paid very little money for the amount of work I do. Tattoos are an expensive hobby.

I know all about allergies. Mine have been bad all summer and I don't know why. My mom hates tattoos. She was pissed when I got the one last fall. I didn't tell her about this one. Those sound like really good ideas. Hmm. Maybe I could get a little manatee somewhere, like on my ankle. Oh the possibilities.
