Okay, since prices dropped on books, has anyone noticed how people seem to be trying to buy up a lot of the books and artificially inflate the prices? Some remain cheap enough, but some which are common books, which used to be 5k in the SS, are now over 190k, which is more than the cost of a super rare. SMH.
I haven't noticed that because haven't quested much lately but wouldn't the reason be that Library Quests were the weekend quests a lot recently ? Or are you sure there are few people that make inflate the normal prices ?
[edit]And can you mention which books ?
Also, it might not be obviously for making the prices inflate. You know, sometimes I find a funny/cute item and it is super cheap so I feel like I'd buy all them up to keep them all in a gallery or a treasure chest. The point was not the make the item be worth more, just that I wanted them all and I had the money for them.
(books which should be like 10-50k are now being listed at ridiculous prices, which probably means a lot of quests aren't getting completed because Alexander is asking for these inflated books quite a lot.)
edit: I will list them as I go:
Sacred Lands Map A Lizardly Tale
Both books you mentionned are Rare books so the price looks pretty much correct to me. Kinda inflated but still alright regarding the rarity. I just think they restock/vend less often because of the recent changes by so the Rare/Super Rare items flood less the market. Then, the fact that Alexander keeps asking for books and that he has been weekend quest quite a lot has had an impact on the prices.
But rare being more expensive that super rare?
you shouldn't give exceptionally much about the rarity, that, pretty often, appears to be just done by rolling some dices both books you named, like whimzy said, always had this price, at least i can't remember them differently and especially with super rare items it happens pretty often the other way around, they are artificially deflated in price and then through autopricer, stay 'cheaper'
