I know that Wrapping Paper was retired, yes, but I'm thinking of slightly renaming the Genetech Combo wrapping papers needed and then putting them for sale in Home Appliances so that the combos can still be made.

I don't know how many of the papers are needed, but instead of Lavender Wrapping Paper, for example, it could be called Lavender Gift Wrap. It'd still look the same as the Lavender Wrapping Paper but would have no actual use except for combos.

This way, there'd be no excessive changes for the combos that do use certain wrapping papers and when the actual wrapping papers become unbuyable, there'd be the exact same combos, just with slightly different named papers.

Thoughts?

This seems like a lot of work on staff's part for something so basic.

There are few combos that actually require wrapping paper.

From those few needed papers (2 require pink, 2 require rainbow) it would be much easier and practical to release some in the Crystal Shop pending they actually become that expensive.

I support the suggestion to release the needed papers in the Crystal Shop when needed.

I don't support them restocking anywhere.

One of the wrapping papers required is ~300k in user shops, one is ~2.4m and the rest are all under 11k. I really don't think they need to go back to restocking anywhere.

But I do support throwing them in the Crystal Shop if they get too expensive

Most of them are under 10k, which is reasonable since I'm pretty sure they can be redeemed for 10k sP.

But there are two that are pricer. Emerald Striped Wrapping Paper (270k+, but not that bad) Golden Wrapping Paper (2.5mil+ with significantly fewer in shops)

But even rereleasing in the crystal shop could be an issue, since there are still hella lots in galleries alone. There are many still on site, it's just an issue of people not selling them.

Ha, yeah I checked the prices on the ones in my gallery and those two were the only expensive ones. (meant to add that to my post but totally forgot) The 270ish seems perfectly reasonable but I would like to see some Goldens tossed in the Crystal Shop at some point since the item it makes is a book.

(ugh speaking of turning in wrapping paper ive still got so much hoarded ;_;)

If they do come back, there's no reason to change the names.

I keep forgetting about the crystal shop as I rarely use it. As long as they stick around for a while instead of changing up so quickly. Most Crystal Shop items seem to be taken out very quickly these days. It barely gives people time to earn the crystals needed to buy the item(s). I'd hope they wouldn't be 100+ crystals per wrap either if they do choose that route.

I agree with everyone else, put them in the crystal shop instead of restocking. And 100 crystals isn't much at all, especially with the newly fraggable items that give you a 1:1 crystal rate. If they sell out quickly from the crystal shop, they'll still find their way into user shops and the price will fall, so it's really not a bad solution. (And like people are found of pointing out, not everything on Subeta should be easy to do/get/achieve!)

LOL if they were 100 crystals a piece, I would buy one each 30 minutes and sell the ones I don't need, sorry not sorry (eyes my thousands of crystals)
