Old Salon:

10k for everything: base colours plus anywhere between 4-7 streaks depending on hairstyle.

New Salon:

Free base colour, highlight and lowlight...BUT 2.5k per each streak!

With there being a minimum of 4 streaks per style and a maximum of 7, that's up to an additional 10-17.5k/hairstyle if you want the max amount of streaks, which is most common.

This is not cheaper. This is far, far more expensive and it's unjust especially when it was 10k all in before.

I honestly think that 10k should be taken and divided by 7 - the max amount of streaks you can get.

10,000 / 7 = 1,428. (it's really a whole, long line of numbers after a decimal, so I'll just round it up to 1,500).

It shouldn't be anymore than 1,500 sP/streak as when you multiply 1,500 by 7, you get 10,500 sP. That's as close to the old price as you can get.

Why should the new salon be so much more than what it originally was? I can understand prices being decreased, but increased? There are so many sP sinks on this site, now, that honestly I don't understand why the salon has to be grossly increased from its original price of an all-in 10k for base colours and streaks.

You don't get the old amount of SP on quests that you used to, you get more than you used to, than what you got back when the hair salon was released. It's just normal that features have prices updated to go and counter inflation.

I really don't consider 7.5k sP a "gross increase" or "far, far more expensive" at all. Less than 20k a pop is nothing. I'd actually support an even higher price for the new wardrobe system that is working on.

But yes, more sP sinks please. Not that I have a ton of spare sP to sink but I would blow it all if I could get my last two fucking bobbleheads or something else I'm not picky, especially something that will get continuous use out of a wider variety of players, but I do really need those bobbles

I'd love to blow my SP on lots of things like bribing the Ruffie with snausages, more pet slots, cool trinkets and the likes. SO MUCH SP, SO LITTLE THINGS I TRULY WANT

I guess it can kinda get expensive if you change your hair like three times a day, but really, 20k (I dunno, is it even that high?) is chump change. Go do a quest for Pete and you can afford to use the salon. I just really don't see the need to decrease this fee.

I don't use streaks when I use the Salon so sounds fine to me B)

I use the hair salon and either almost never use streaks, or maybe I use 2-4 in order to get a better light bounce on the hair, depending on the look I'm trying to use. I don't think it's all that common for people to use all 7 streaks, especially because on several of the styles, a "streak" consists of one teeny tiny, barely notable flick of hair.

So yes, you're right, 2.5k may be too much to be paying for a teeny tiny, barely notable flick of hair. However, I don't think the solution is to lower the price; I think the solution is to decide within yourself that you may not need that teeny tiny, barely notable flick of hair colored.

But it's only 7.5k? This is a sp sink that targets everyone and not the extremely rich/those who save super long. We need more sinks like these! All bits help to save the subeta economy.

Why can you understand decreasing prices and not increasing prices? There is no valid reason to even decrease it. It was cheap as it was, and it's still cheap now.

If you do one set of quests per day, you will more than pay for a week's worth of messing with your hair.

I don't understand how people can complain over such small amounts of sp when it's so easy to earn with just a bit of work. Play the game and you'll earn the currency. If you have endless amounts of another kind of currency, like CSC, and don't have time to make sp then maybe you could sell like 100 CSC and bam you have 4.5m and you can play with your hair for a year.

Or 1.4% of the money from the economy.

Even with the pet slot "sink" I have over 300m. There are still NOT enough sP sinks.

I wish the Salon would introduce more hairstyle that you can unlock by paying. Hair coupons and Delish are nice, but it could be an interesting sP sink. (just throwing my two cents here)

I just got 7.5k+ in 13 seconds playing random with my crappy PC and slow internet (yes, I timed it).

Seriously, this doesn't need to be even more cheaper. Just take an extra 30 seconds to get the sP you need to finish your HA and you're done. I can't see how this is a problem.
