It is going to take forever to put almost 3000 items in my collections. It's ridiculous to not have a "move to ___ collection" button.
this won't ever happen, staff shoots it down every time. collections take a lot of work, you can just do it bit by bit though, do 10 items at a time and move onto something else, then another 10 items later :P
Why did you wait until you had 3000 items before putting them in a collection?
Hey, if I had to do it everyone else should have the opportunity to enjoy the tediousness for themselves. Muahahahahaha!
Totally kidding. :) I really wouldn't mind this at all, even though staff has previously said no. I did mine as I got them but went on a big buying spree over a couple recent months to boost my collections a ton, and it really does get incredibly monotonous (even if you do them a bit at a time). Though I get where staff is coming from on this point too. It would take some of the effort out of completing collections.
The difference with stickers is that with stickers, you didn't have a choice to rely on other people. You did have a choice to put your plushies in your collection when you bought them, you just procrastinated.
I can support this for features where there are risks to be scammed, but there was zero risks with plushies.
I understand that, but I still think it isn't a bad idea. The "collections are supposed to be hard to get" excuse seems silly when the actual effort is getting the items, not putting them in your collection. The effort of adding them one by one feels like an extra hassle that doesn't add anything.
You could say that when you start with collections there're a lot of cheap items that are super easy to get, and the effort then is adding them to collections. But those are mostly newer users who probably wouldn't use the feature anyways if it has an small fee (seeing how much people didn't like the idea of paying 10k for stickers).
I just bought them. I bought 400 or so beanbags and plushies that I was putting in as I won from vending and such. But I just got serious about collecting and bought items. It'a not about lazyness or procrastination. A lot of time is spent buying and sorting. Not really sure how it hurts to have a button. And if someone is willing to spend sp like someone suggested that would be a plus. I would be willing to do it probably. Like I said I don't have the time to put 3000+ items in hand by hand. And even doing it gradually is beyond annoying so I'm just selling what I bought.
Ten times as much as stickers and I'm game. Stickers should have been that high, but they decided to add the random stickers, which counterbalance the low fee.
But I wouldn't want the feature to be much less than 100K/plushie
That's a little steep but I would be willing to do 50k per item. There's three collections and over 6k items between them. 100k per would a billion sp. Which is more than a sink.
If it's too steep, you have the option to do it for free, it won't be removed.
Let's not forget this is HYPOTHETICAL.
Yeah, but this got moved into suggestions now. So if you don't actually want to suggest this, ask for it to be locked since the point of the suggestions forum is to suggest things to be added to the site
The "add X to collection" after you buy from the SS is enough. Collections are a game, a very difficult one and it's on purpose, so I don't see any reason to make it easier.
Open 10 tabs at a time and add them, you are lucky because now you don't have the option to play with a pet, so it's even less scrolling and thinking..
I'm not the one who moved it to suggestions. It would be really cool but it seems like it's already been rejected as an idea.
Not sure why people are so butthurt over this. It hurts you zero if it were to ever be implemented.
There was another thread recently here. And for quoting who quoted the FAQ :
Oh no, the 'you are butt hurt' play. Quite the unique and bold strategy.
it doesn't seem like OP wants thos open as a suggestion, not sure if you're allowed to lock it.
Because the way it works now is fine, unless you neglected to put them in your collection after buying them. You have an inventory limit of 250 with a GA (100 without) which is not so bad
