Forum Group Rules

1. Follow the Community Guidelines. This means be respectful of your other group members and admins, whether they are from your house or not!
2. Competition is OK, but keep it clean!
3. Once you select a house, you will not be able to change it until the current term is over! So choose wisely. Once term is over, you may sMail or with your reasons for changing. We reserve the right to deny any House changes.
4. Unlike for classes (see below), any activities or challenges posted in the Great Hall will have a set end date and must be completed before the end date.
5. Please refrain from posting any chat threads/member-made threads in The Classrooms.
6. Currently there are no set rules about how active you have to be. We understand that not everyone can be on every day, do every activity, etc. However, if we find that you have joined a house in the hopes of receiving prizes at the end of term and do not put any work in, you will not receive said prizes!
7. Please note that you will not be able to ping the main forum group for Custom Wearables. You can, however, feel free to use instead!
8. Please only ping wizcws once per thread per week.
9. Please do not create threads for clubs or workshops. Either the Admins or the Club/Workshop Captain should be the only one to create a club thread.
10. This rule is particularly for Club/Workshop Captains: Please keep all club/workshop threads to the Clubs & Roleplay forum.
11. Please refrain from posting roleplaying threads in the Great Hall. Please post them in the Clubs & Roleplay forum or in your house ping groups.
12. Members may only have one special ability at a time. This means that if you have multiple characters, only one character may have a special ability. Likewise, the character can only have ONE special ability.
13. Special abilities include: animagus, centaur, empath, ghost, legilimens, metamorphmagus, occlumens, part-fae, part-giant, part-goblin, part-vampire, part-veela, parselmouth, seer, vampire, werewolf. Anything not listed that may be considered a special ability must be approved by .
14. Please add your House to the end of all challenge/classwork submissions. We are able to check the list to see what house you belong, but this just makes it easier.
15. You are allowed to roleplay as many characters as you want regardless of house. However, when it comes to earning points you are only allowed to earn points as one specific character from your sorted house.

Classroom Rules

1. No cheating! This means if someone has already posted their submission, do not copy their answers or use their answers as a reference.
2. All classwork is due 11:59PM the last day of the term.
3. Classes will generally be written by the admins, however there may be times where group members are able to create lessons for House Points! If you write the lesson, however, you cannot complete the classwork for House Points.
4. Classwork can only be completed once per lesson. For instance, if you submit two assignments for the first lesson of Charms, you will only be awarded points for the first submission.
5. Remember to follow the instructions of the assignments! If the assignment says to sMail your submission, do not post it on the thread.

Terms generally last for 3 months, give or take a few days.
