All of them are technically unfinished, because I want to see changes on the profile system before moving on and working on them :D

Well, I have two pets and both are unfinished but I hope Clint will be done soon. I have to finish his story when I have time and buy a profile for him. Other then that he is pretty much done. After I have finished him I will work on Bucky (which I'm already secretly working on, just the little things like TC).

If I leave out Profiles, Stories and TC I can say all my Pets are completed because all of them have a character and a story, at least in my mind. :D

39 out of 40 of mine are unfinished X'D Sadly I am just so totally lazy and I tend to get distracted pretty fast... x_x

18/43 = unfinished, at least that passed half point, right?! Though technically, I'm always improving or working on TC for my "finished" pets...so...xD

It doesn't help that I'm mega-slow when it comes to adding to their TC/coding their profiles/overlays etc.

Only one of my pets is done in terms of spotlight standards but I don't care to enter any of my other pets, so personally 5 others are "done" to me. I have 13 pets, so that's 7 unfinished.

I have 6 that still need character ideas (they're all arid mahars right now haha), but all 41 of them could use work in some way or another.

I don't now that I ever finish characters, they grow a lot with me (the ones that last) and change as "people" (they're usually creatures and monsters but they think a lot like people) and there's always something to create for them, be it writing or pictures of them or, recently, me creating art that serves as art they've created, which is an interesting and fun exercise of my own artistic skills.

Do you guys bring characters to a finished point? I can see how, with Subeta's profile trends/system, there can be a "complete" with coding, story, overlay, and TC done. I have never worked on all of those things at once enough to reach a sense of complete before deciding to change something, small or major, about my characters.

26/26 lmao. I am the worst pet owner ever, I just hoard names forever like a menace to society.

All 5 of my pets have complete treasure chests and stories, but none are up to Spotlight standards, unfortunately.

12/13 unfinished LMAO ORZ when I first joined, I binge made a bunch of pets that never got utilized - since coming back, I've been overhauling those slots into new characters/concrete ideas

I've got three I'm actively working through, though! +_+ and have tried to put up notes/bases for each, even if it's just a start on their TC

I agree about characters often being in constant evolution - there are some plots and OCs that do get put to rest, but overall, fiction is an organic thing, and can be as extensive or limited as the creator wants. Rather than having a 'finish' point, I try to figure out which aspect of the character or story I want represented in the profile, and work towards that - otherwise I have the same problem! It seems impossible to summarize a realized character in the at-a-glance format of the pet profile, and just as easy to get caught up with trying to do so anyway xc at least, I know I've had that hiccup more than once!

Yes yes this! It's like, maybe I could make my pets "spotlight ready" if I take a snapshot of their character at this time and make it like, a poster ad of that moment of them, otherwise there's just so much fun content that I could continuously add, change, remove, restart on. I mean, I'm slow slow slow at working on them, but I'd maybe actually get something to a state of completion that way. Otherwise, the longer I have them the more they change, and I love that, so shrug nothing's ever complete haha.

Slightly on a tangent? So I know everyone and their kitchen sink compares to Neopets, but one thing I absolutely loved about that site was their beautiful gift of an entire page to put whatever you want for your pet in addition to their profile, which you could still decorate and write a description for. That was so fun and I felt a lot more freedom in that, I kinda really crave it here on Subeta. I'm sure there's plenty of work-arounds you can do with CSS, but it would be neat if I could have that at a glance profile for what we'd consider "spotlight ready" (tc, stats, bite-sized description, overlay, minion) and then another "pet page" to deposit my character development, sketches, art, writing, and all the changes that come with it.

I have ideas and stories for all of mine, but totally finished are only 2 at the moment. The rest has all variations from not much done to nearly finished ^^. I am allways slow cause I do most of of the art myself.. even when I order art (especially portraits) I mostly do 1-3 portraits first so the artist has nice reference material ^^. Coding and story I allways do myself and only ask for beta-reading or somtimes help when I have a issue with codeing. So it actually takes me a lot of time to finish a pet.

Over 20... But I'm just really slow. XD

i guess like 7 or 8 of them… i'm still not totally pleased with Flower Crown's story, and the rest don't even have profiles or fully fleshed out ideas. some of them i have vague ideas for, and others i've got nothing but i feel like the potential is there so i'm holding on to them for now.
