I need some thoughts and opinions on Hondashi's profile. Depending on what you guys say, I may redo his entire profile...not including his story.
But I DO want some critique on his story too, but that's a separate issue that won't interfere with my profile layout.
Lovely profile and overlay!
I'll read the story in a sec. c:
Hey!^^ I think it's a nice start but the story seems meshed and rushed because it does't make sense when it first starts out. It's not bad by any means! But maybe spend more time elaborating bits, like why she wanted the elf and such. Also, the very beginning of the story is what will keep people on the profile or not, maybe build up a clearer background to preview the story, otherwise your throwing the whereat/werewolves/elves/etc out there without explaining anything.
The profile is nice, I think it'd be better if the background what a shade of red/pink instead of blue but it still works nice as is. :)
He's a boy btw. ;3
His story comes from a MUD text-based game, so I'm trying to do what I can without ripping off them, so I'll have to think about how to do that without telling the whole setup for the races and bard class...hm. Thanks for the input, I'll have to see how to arrange things.
Thanks :3c
Too be honest I feel like everything on the profile clashes.
Beige textured stripes on a blue background with a black music note, spectrum pet friends, a red overlay on a blue square with a harsh black shadow, a spectrum minion, pixelated blue swirls and a huge pink human art. It doesn't feel like a whole but more like tons of element thrown together into one piece.
On top of that the swirls are pixelated, the black shadow on the background of the overlay and on the letters looks off because it's a flat design and flat things don't have a shadow. And I would advise to have some space on the bottom of the profile (just 15px or so might be enough) because for me the TC touches the bottom of my screen and a part of the foot of the human art disappears.
Maybe go for a more unified design where the colors match this website is amazing for colour matching.
Sorry if that was a bit too honest.

Nah, you're fine. I already noticed the pixelated curls and I don't even remember where I even got the treble clef from, so that's why I was debating redoing the entire thing...another thing being my new overlay doesn't fit properly into the old slot I had there. I'll note the suggestions for when I get around to getting into my art program.
