So I was trying to make my pet Stoke into a Steamworks, which I succeeded in doing, went and bought schematics and had the key and was all set and went ahead to Full Steam Ahead to get it created. However when it was finished he didn't have a gear gender.
Was there something I missed? I know you don't get a gear gender went they are made Steamworks by a potion or a zapper. But was there something else I did wrong? Because it's half the reason I made this pet in the first place. XD
you only get the gear gender when making a new steamwork pet, not when you turn an existing pet steamwork even if you do it with schematics.
Okay, then how does one go about doing it that way if I may ask? I have been looking around and having seen anything for how to just create a pet instead of transforming a currently existing one. Thank you for your quick response.
That won't give it the gear gender, only the genderless symbol (which iirc is just a grey circle)
Yeah, I saw that earlier but when I am on the page itself for Full Steam Ahead all I see is the ability to select my schematic and a drop down for which pet I want.
Is this potentially because I don't have any open spots to create a pet? Sorry for asking so many questions -_-
Hmm, the quoted instructions don't say how to get the gear gender at all, do they? The Frequently Asked Questions & Answers is kinda silent on what that page looks like.
I dunno if FSA can tell if you have a slot open or not. I know I did have a slot open and it allowed me to enter a petname if I wanted. If you don't see anything but the dropdown then it's likely it can tell.
Thank you, and yeah I looked everyone including searching on google but there was nothing that specified that, at least nothing I could find which is why I made the board in the first place. But since you just said you were able to and had open spots I am going to guess that's my issue of why I couldn't just make one outright and thought the pet had to exist first.
So thank you. Good to know I am not just being an idiot and just can't find it.
