On your second anniversary of playing this site you'll receive a free loyalty box that you can use to get an extra pet slot. You will need a gold account to use that free slot, however.

That's the one thing I would change about subeta, more free pet slots... If we had that this would become my new favorite pet site...

You don't have to spend REAL money to buy new pet slots. A pet slot costs 2000 csc, you can buy the cards from user shops/trades for sP :

[edit]Because yeah, just so you know, I never have spent cash for playing Subeta and I've got many Cash Shop items, CWs, and Cash Shop pet slots... I just bought the cards from user shops. It is an alternative to people like me who don't have the money IRL to still play the game and have the access to Cash Shop features.

• There is also another case but that's really rare and I don't know if they'll ever do that again : it happened in the past that when we reached 2k users playing at the same time, for "celebrating", the staff gave an extra pet slot to all the people online at that moment. I have the SUPER USER achievement and was there when there were the last big activities on the site but they didn't give out an extra pet slot that time so you should not rely on this too much.

Maybe you could add your two cents, from the point of view of a new user so to say.

If it were possible to get more free pet slots without waiting 1 to 2 years, no one would use CSC to buy them. The point of CSC is to support the site. If they gave everything away for free, Subeta would be forced to close down, which would make more free pet slots useless in the end.

I don't think anyone expects the full amount of paid slots to also be available for free. A few new free slots wouldn't hurt, the crazy pet people who are willing to max out their paid slots now will still do it even if they get more free ones too.

People are still going to use CSC on pet leashes and custom overlays and gold accounts and a lot of things, actually. CSC is not used JUST to buy pet slots.

Also, if the base slots are augmented, keep in mind that only a part of this population would have bought CSC for pet slots, especially for the absurdly high rate. And, even if these people were given slots for free, they would still buy more for real money.

FlightRising doesn't have a single lair expansion for real cash money and I assure you they're doing more than fine. Misticpets' cap is both higher in the number of pets one can own, and is also way cheaper than Subeta.

Had you read a little closer, you would have caught that I specified "everything," not just pet slots. I've seen a countless number of people ask for "free" ways to get CSC and pet slots, and most of them are minors who do not understand that the reason why they are not free is because Subeta needs to be supported by third parties and donations in order to continue to run. It is great that some people would continue to purchase pet slots even if a certain number of extra slots become free but, unfortunately, most people would just demand for more free stuff, especially minors.

This thread is about pet slots, though. Not everything, so of course I'm going to talk about pet slots.

I personally think that expanding your wardrobe space SHOULD cost CSC as well, but well, I'd be gunned down by wardrobe lovers for this.

I agree that free pet slots alone wouldn't effect Subeta in a destructive manner. If there were ways to get free CSC in large amounts, however, it would not be good. :x I was talking more about free ways to get csc, not necessarily getting free pet slots alone.

We've got plans for at least one non-CSC pet slot soon. :)
