Hi!

So I've been earning CSC through free offers on sites such as Slice the Pie (music rating), and I'm thinking of using the money I earn on CWs here, and I have a couple of questions.

First of all, how often does Subeta offer the extra percentage of CSC + special item sale? You know, the one where if you buy CSC on a certain weekend, they give you an item depending on what payment service you use and a bit of extra CSC as well? I think I'm going to buy CSC then so I get a bit extra.

Secondly, what's the most cost-effective way to buy CWs? Is it best to buy directly from CW threads/shops, the CW Pawn Shop, or R200 Advertising?

Last of all, what's the best way to make an offer on R200 Advertising? Is it common protocol to offer the original slot price of an item?

Sorry about all the questions, but I'm just super curious! Thanks in advance.

If you want to buy some CWs already existing without worrying about slots and stuff the Pawn Shop has TONS you can get. Also checking out user owned CW shops can help too. Though not every CW creator has a shop in use.

If you're looking to buy CWs from people via the advertising board, check out the topics and if you happen to see an item or items you like make sure to read the topic first (sometimes the poster will have a set price already all you'd have to do is ask for that item and then offer on a trade) or if there's no price, just post and ask how much the person is looking for.

As for the extra bonus csc.. I believe those usually happen around the 15th of the month... I know the usually happen before the release of the Delish sets.

Thanks for the answers!

I think I'd get sucked into the Pawn Shop way too quickly! I also see there's a CW Ping Group to ping people before a CW goes to the Pawn Shop, and I think that might be a good group for me - 24hourpawn I think it is?

Offering always gets me a bit nervous, especially because I'm not too familiar with CWs and their prices. Lurking on the boards, I see quite a few boards where people ask you to make the offers, and I just don't know where to start!

There's a new loyalty card coming out on the 24th this month, there will more than likely be a bonus weekend along with its release. Iirc there usually is (but otherwise, once a month or so seems to be the usual lately)

People usually look for a discount on Cash Shop CWs in R200, but that doesn't necessarily mean anyone will be willing to sell the ones you're looking for (personally I just buy from the shop unless I see them cheaper elsewhere before I get to it). CW threads otherwise and the Pawn shop would be cheapest (but if you're waiting for something specific, don't count on it showing up in the Pawn Shop).

People selling items tend to give prices, if they're looking for offers you can always start with slot price and see if they go for it, or if they're willing to haggle from there/give you a price. Not all items sell commonly for slot price. I only ever ask for slot price, or what I paid for an item. I have no problem offering more for more popular items or things I really want (like the shoes in my signature, I would absolutely offer more than slot price but half the battle is finding someone actually willing to sell them)

Sorry this was all so wordy but I hope it was helpful >__> [edit] Wordy AND super delayed, hell yeah I'm on a roll :'D

Ah not really sure about that one sorry.

Hmm yeah offering can be a bit... tricky if you're still getting used to things. Best course of action is to offer 600csc at first for wigs and such. Not everything will cost that but usually wigs can go for 5-700csc depending on the item. If you're totally unsure what to offer maybe ask a friend or someone to help you. c:

It was, thanks!

There's a couple of items I've seen on people's R200 threads that I can see myself using or things that I've admired in the past. Looking through the Pawn Shop, there are some really nice things as well. Once a month for bonus CSC works well for me!

Ahh, that's okay.

I've started to recognize how much slot prices usually are for items just by lurking, so I guess that's a good thing! :)
