Alright, I know it's entirely possible that this, well, isn't possible under the current system. But if it is in the inventory... Basically, I'm asking that we perhaps could be able to sort our items by timeline. I for example would like to lower prices on things that have been sitting a while, but I don't have the memory to know when I added everything. Currently I'm just lowering everything in the shop every now and then, but I'd like a more efficient method if possible? (If I had money, I would use autopricer, buuuut.)
I completely understand if it just doesn't save the time added or something, it's only because the inventory seems to that I thought it might be possible. It would be a useful thing, I think.
I wouldn't need this since I autoprice, so... But aside from that, what if a second copy of an old item is put into the store? Does it then become the newest item or does it count by the time of the first item? I feel this idea could use a little refinement regarding multiples.
Also, for what it's worth, the last thing I personally want is yet another column on that pricing page. The wide spacing still annoys the crap out of me because it takes a loooot more scrolling to edit items now.
Ah, I forgot to account for multiples, sorry. They'd be done the same way they are in the inventory, that is - I believe - by the first one added.
On that note, perhaps also have a way to disable columns, too, then? I don't really see how another column will require more scrolling, but perhaps I have a larger screen than you do or I'm overlooking something.
Well, columns wouldn't affect scrolling, ideally, but every time that page is edited the font goes wonky or the spacing goes strange or the text wraps to take up two lines instead of one or the drop down doesn't work properly etc etc. It feels like every time the page is edited it comes out less user friendly, is all.
Ah, editing it causes problems like that? I didn't know, I've only been here about a week, so... I'm an IT student, though, I know how annoying those problems are all too well. If it can be done without causing problems, then I'd appreciate it, but if it can't then it's not /strictly/ a necessary thing for me, just useful, and better to have it working for everyone. I can keep doing what I'm doing if I need to.
I could see myself using this, as I have accidentally added items to one or the other of my shop that I haven't meant to, and of course, instantly forgotten what items they were.

Sorting by time added is a good idea, especially for galleries...I can find out what items I recently added to the gallery and then sort them in the right categories. Like the WL.
I for one would love to see advanced filtering options on the Edit items page. There could be a 'Sort by' menu containing options like time added, rarity and amount, perhaps even lowest price in user shops for GA users.
