To me the Spectrum one is too 'white'

I actually ALWAYS prefer the Spectrum version, many of the Blacklight Pets just don't look as nice as their Spectrum counterpart

Lol, appart from the Spectrum Keeto that is super awesome, I find them too white. :P For me that Spectrum Torrey looks kinda albinos if that makes sense ? There's nothing wrong about being albinos, just that I prefer dark pets uhuh

I think it would depend on the personality. To me, spectrum usually seems more whimsical and sweet, where as blacklight is more dynamic and fun. I think this is because for most pets, the blacklight makes the rainbow colors stand out more to my eyes, whereas some spectrums blend the colors with the white more, and give it less contrast. That could just be my weird eyes though! lol

Lexx, I kind of agree with you on the colour thing--so it's not just you.

I realize it's just a pet colour, but you've got me thinking a bit more about it. For some reason, it's a difficult choice for me.

No problem. I agree, is right. :) Have you thought about the pet's story/universe?

- At least a little bit, yes. A really rough 'draft' anyhow, so nothing is ironed out or set in stone just yet. I was thinking along the lines of "mellow partier"--fun-loving, optimistic, friendly; and still responsible. As far as that goes, I feel like the spectrum character may just enjoy the 'style', where the blacklight would actually prefer the lights and the latenight gigs and whatever else have you.

Oooh this is a tough one. Normally I would say Blacklight, but from what you just described I say go with Spectrum! The whole vibe of mellow partier makes me think of the Spectrum.

Oh yis I see. The "lights and the latenight gigs" make sense about the BL pet. Yes, that's quite true and I am agreeing about the Spectrum one now. I guess it is clearer for you now you've established the personality! c:
