Since the recent addition of the escalade to the subetapedia I would like to suggest that in the future, if this pet were to get revamped that it be drawn without the helmet.

I also just think this would be too amazingly cute to not do.

i agree, as soon as i saw that in the pedia article i thought the chibi one should be helmet-less because… gosh, how cute would that be? and it kind of makes sense that they would have to reach a certain age before they get a helmet. (yes yes, i know chibi isn't necessarily a baby, but chibi pets are usually drawn to resemble a baby/very young version of the pet.)

I dunno about this. Maybe those features should remain a mystery, or only show up in Storm where the lightning or cloud itself blows the helmet half off.

The reason I don't like this idea so much is a difference of interpretation. When I was reading the article I was thinking it'd be awfully cute for an adventurous young escalade to try on mommy's helmet. They'd find out just how BIG mommy's head is compared to their own with only their snout sticking out. They also would be trying on their mom's laser-rifle or other BFG (escalades are guardians, and pets do fight with these in the Coloseum) and be discovering just how hard it is to hold and how heavy it is.

I think it's a nice idea. Although personally I'd prefer it to have like a huge helmet too big for its head. I think it'd be insanely cute :'D Maybe we could also see some part of their fluffy ears this way too.

I think it's be cute if it had an oversized helmet or it was like, chewing on the helmet instead of wearing it.

Large fuzzy ears makes everything cuter.

I like this idea, but it might be better for an item? Like plushies or a figure. As already showed us a pet colour already shows the ears.
