You know, the items you receive when you win a fight in the Coliseum. Yeah, that pile of battle axes, teeth and pink elephant plushies. How many teeth/axes/shields do I need? Why all the restockable junk items? Do I really need thirty copies of the snarling kumos mask? I swear I've never considered adding even one to my armory.

I know the Battle Admins do as they please, but here are some suggestions anyway:

• Replace the junk drops with things we'll use, like potions, pylonics and books (the pile of pink elephant plushies do me no favors). Because that would be super useful for all battlers.

• If there has to be junk dropped because there's a rule stating so, could the Recycle Beast drop that on win 11 and up? That would make more sense to me.

• Special loot is dropped on win 5. Why not 10? Or why not space it out between 1, 5 and 10?

• More scrolls as special loot instead of all these various axes/swords/shields/teeth. Scrolls are weapons too.

• Do battle tokens have to be random for all challengers? Could one give you a huge load of tokens?

• More Genetech component things. I'm a huge fan of the components in the Battle Shop. More multi-stage buildables like that would be fun as special loot.

• Those egg boosters dropped by easy challengers on win 5 that only work on T1-T3? I'd love an equivalent for the higher tiers. You can't trade or sell them, so there's really no harm in that and the training costs get out of hand somewhere up there...

Are resets really that regular to be problematic?

I'm not some high ranking battler by any stretch of the imagination, but as someone who is training their pet and has some interest in it, if I can add something to the conversation, I would like to say that it's kind of annoying that the loop drops are literally the same thing over and over again. Like the pink elephant plushie. In and of itself, it's amusing to get as a loot drop once, but why did I need to receive 10,897 of them?

Yeah, they are. Let's also not forget that the number of people with 2+ T12 pets are rising.

So many things would be solved if Keith would just give you a pet programmer that you could boss around.

I'm probably old-school minded, but if people spent the time and energy to get more than one T12, more power (and more goods) to them :)

The low supply is part of the reason why these prices are this high, but I think that the current system gives battlers with multiple pets too many pink elephant plushies for their own good, and not enough goodies.

A way to get de-powered versions of the opponent unlocking loot, please. TC's need these. I know mine need the summoning altars. So I either have to skip out on unlocking the challenger (and in the altars case I would be missing out on one or more of the challengers), or shell out a good amount for one of these when I can get one for free (and someone else misses out on at least one opponent). Even if their reasoning is "I can't beat them right now anyhow" that will change and chances are, they will unlock them because they know that.

I don't mind the junky loot that's fraggable (or salable at the pawn shop for those who don't frag). But I just fought several of the super-easy challengers to get those egg boosters (which I had never heard of until I read this thread), and I got a lot of stuff that was retired, Melody Items, etc. Those are completely useless, so yeah, I support changing them.

And I would also LOVE a higher tier equivalent of the eggs. The existing ones are already unusuable for my battle pet; he's a tier 5, and I've only been here a year (and haven't trained him constantly). I'm getting them to use towards his gourmand status, but still, I'd prefer to train him with them :P

Ugh this so much please. It wouldn't be so bad if you could earn them again using a different pet to battle with, but as it stands its one and done and the item art is so pretty on all of those.

I will never understand why Subeta keeps releasing items that either you can't own (plot items) or ones like this that are basically ones you can't own. Why waste your money creating something like these?

No thanks, I'd prefer if my stuff has value. Worthless Cronus? No thanks at all. imo we need more achievement prizes. Battling should pay off, making things one per account guarantees to some extent that the prize will have some value.

higher tier eggs would be nice. I was thinking about something like them being added to shinwa as a bonus prize. no trade boosters so prevent people from selling them. I really miss being able to get a booster or two, and an extra 2 stats a day is not game breaking.

Expensive loot can absolutely retain value without being limited to one per account. Inversely, staff can absolutely mess up the value of once per account items.

there's no reason to get more than one Cronus though, people are forced to earn theirs, which is fair. battling to earn your stuff is a good idea. what else comes from achievements? psycho smasher? staff doesn't want a ton of those going out. is there anything else? there aren't many of these items at all.

achievement prizes make these things special instead of oh now I have two of them, let's sell the spare quickly, not to mention people with 10 t12 pets.

You have every other challenger that has a 5th win prize. If you get 10 Cronus Blades, now suddenly all 10 of your cronus blades are worth the same as 1 Cronus Blade that we have now. You will not be able to sell these Cronus Blades, they are t12, and anyone with common sense trains their t12 pet until they can beat slabby for themselves. Borrowing a cronus is not a hard task at all. Psycho smashers could use another tier or something to their achievement, just one is kinda lame. Maybe add a shriek of despair achievement for morostide, but I understand why they don't want everyone having 15 freezer scrolls. That's really why we have so many opponents that are freeze immune.

You are absolutely right! People had pets that were capped the instant the 1st cap was introduced to the site. Yee haw, get punished because your thing is to work hard and put that hard work into training your pets. If those people still wanted something to do as far as the battling part of the site the only choice they had was to train another pet, so double the amount of money and time spent and so on.

I really could careless either way if it is achievement drop or battle drop. I don;t need a zillion thing to know how hard I worked or how much time and money I spent on my pets. My pride comes from seeing how much work I have put into them.

Everyone will have their own opinion on it, but the thing is.....those opinions when it comes to battle related stuff are bias to that person and what they have as far as pet stats, pet weapons., how many pets they have trained and so on. It is just the way it has always been and will always be.

I do think some of the things Gray mentioned would be nice to spice it up a bit though. The genetech thing would be cool and when the drops paid out. The higher tiered eggs, also a great idea.
