I loved the Peka-Boo event we had. Is it possible for another one anytime soon?

there is likely some event that's going to happen soon, I doubt it'll be like the peka-boo event though. my bet is some sort of plot.

I must have misunderstood then but I thought they wanted to make it yearly ? At least the bands and voting things (hence the many different achievements like being in a rock band, being in a pop band etc etc), not the things like the Wishing Shrub that was a huge mess.

Aw sad, I already had been thinking about my 'band' lol. But were the hints saying it'd be a plot with battling or so ? I don't like plots that much because everyone is on Subeta and it makes the site lag so badly but if there are battling stuff I might find it interesting.

I think staff said there will be another Peka Boo event at some point but if it's going to happen this year isn't clear. I'm personally hoping for something else, I prefer variety. X'3

well Purge confirmed there is a 1% chance of a gelatin war this year, which leads me to believe it will be a battling plot :)

I would like an event where we go to Omen Island and can fight off pirates, or something. Or has that already been done? I was here around last year, so I'm still relatively new

Ah that's cool. Thanks for the input. It truly makes me happy. :D I feel like I just need new opponents. Free ones are easy to beat, and if I just want more challenging stuff I should buy the Cash Shop opponents but it is an investments for me as I am not rich so plot opponents, event opponents, whatever...I AM ALL IN.

(and sad for the gelatins though because I had already like more than the half of wins on that Gelatin Slayer and then I got busy and bored and my pet was just like a tier 5 or so at the time so I tried to split on all the pets but that was such a mess and boredom to me)

Thanks for confirming! Actually I had read somewhere it was planned to be other Peka Boo events and I assumed automatically they'd be yearly but yeah, I was visibly wrong c:

And yes, there was the Restocking War in 2009 that was held in Omen Islands. Islanders VS. Pirates. Now the rewards are buyable from the Antique Shop in sP. :)

I'd love to have both a gelatin war and a battling plot, but either one will make me happy :p I got my gelatin slayer last year. it took forever o_o

The Pirate and Islander weapons that are worth a couple of billions, they are "godly" weapons and are "meant" to be the best weapons on Subeta apparently but I am not an expert in super high battling stuff so I can't tell much about them

Yeah, I was never much into battling. I tend to focus more on the wearables and the HA's

Wishing shrub was awesome. I got a bunch of wishlist items from it, so it went very well for me. I miss that thing, I hope it comes back

I asked for cheap stuff myself and got all my wishes granted, and granted all the wishes for the tier achievements but seriously, it was too messy because of how much people were being greedy and ridiculous. If there was a way to enter your wish and a warning message like "the average price of the item is too expensive, ask for something else" (well I don't know, it is a supposition and might be difficult to code), people would ask more reasonable stuff instead of being like "Oh I want a Baal, oh I want a 12 Months GA medal, etc."

I think that the achievement for getting X number of your wishes granted should have been established from the start.

I personally mostly asked for old DP items, so I got a bunch of cute things.

Yes that should have been the solution actually. Well, the staff will know for the next time if they think about setting a Wishing Shrub again. On another side, I think there should be something else than 'achievements' because not everyone is after the achievements, you know ? It is nice that you could just cancel your wish after an hour if it was not granted but I assume some people still were thinking that people would grant their crazy wishes and kept trying without thinking about the achievements.

And nice for you c: Actually I think I asked for kinda cheap clothing for my wardrobe (~500k-3m) as I was aiming the 15k achievement so that helped a bit and that was nice. Now I'm gonna empty all that wardrobe though.
