Yes I did find one in the pound, but was unable to adopt it(or any other pet) because my account was too young. That is a squid, however, but it's close enough heh.

Ah yes, I did read a thread or two of someone trying to do just that, but most users have filled slots; I wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone XD I intend to have only one pet (if that's even possible; probably not) and I'm partially set on a Glacier :3 BUT THERE'S SO MANY UGH.

It is hard to just have one... I have 41 and there's still pets I would like to have.

Still, some people manage and I sort of am in awe of them.

I promised myself I would no longer indulge the hoarder/collector thing anymore because I don't ever have the earning capacity or tenacity or commitment to maintain that habit :P It seems like the morphing... elixirs here are rather affordable, too. Though I do wish a pet could own several minions. By several I mean a thousand.

I might just go ahead and start a minion gallery. I'm doing the thing again aren't I. Goddammit.

Pets have their own inventories, called "treasure chests", you could store minions there. I don't think there's an upper limit for how many TC slots you can buy. Some of my pets have a couple of hundred, so you should be able to stock a good amount if you wanted to display them with your pet...

I saw some pets with that and thought it was just a pet page description thing. Where do I buy those and how much do they cost? Is it something I can see only when I have a pet? If it's too expensive I probably won't. I want to make my credits count XD The July'11 collectible was just conveniently released with that octopus item. Is it true I can pick any item I want, or is it random? Also should I wait for the usershop price to come down or is it better to just purchase it from the cash shop straight?

You can pick the one you want. You could wait a bit, some go down while others stay the same. It'll be around until the 31st.

When you have a pet, you go to the Your Pets page, then click the edit symbol/arrow in the upper right corner of the pet's box. You'll se a drop down menu with one of the options being Treasure. That'll take you to the TC page and from there you can arrange and buy more slots. They cost 100k a pop, which isn't much around here. You get 3 free and there are Random Events that give more too.

Oh, so it's a little similar to a gallery shop. Except... you have to pay for each slot haha... I might just end up relying completely on the free REs for that then.

Thank you :D I've mostly wended my way around by now. And I've finally gotten a pet so that I can access the rest of the site. I'm trying to avoid forums for the time being at least until I've settled in a bit more (gotten way more cash)

The art forum is a bit daunting because of the number of great artists I won't be able to cope with there. They're giving away better stuff than I can do for free XD So I probably won't be selling anything anytime soon.

Ah, I see :3 Well I have the month to dig my heels in and see what is appropriate to charge for my stuff then! I also need to get used to a whole new set of rules for selling drawings... unless they're pretty much the same as Gaia. The 'no posting images bigger than THIS SIZE' thing is throwing me off a little, since some of the threads don't seem to be adhering to it or maybe my understanding of it is off.
