I saw it up this morning, and now it disappeared? Is it up for anyone?

yes the show XD that horrendous "movie" does not exist in my little world.

Hahaha I am ashamed to say that before I watched the show I thought that movie was actually pretty good. Of course that quickly changed once I saw the show and realized how crap the movie was in comparison. It's a shame really since the source material, being so good, had so much potential to become an awesome live acton movie.

what made the movie worse was the fact that Shyamalan didnt want anything to do with the original creators being on set to help with the movie. He got the rights to the movie from Nick and took it as his way to interrupt his kids favorite show. And he did horribly at that. Half the movie was apparently filmed in his backyard >_>

Once I heard about him not letting the original creators anywhere near the movie i lost all hope that it would have been a decent movie, and as far as i know of the original creators have still not seen the movie due to the backlash it got. It has to suck to see something that you worked so hard on, get destroyed by someone else's greed.

Yea, I would rage if I was one of the original creators of the show. Apparently there were plans to make the entire series too, but because of the poor reception of the first(and rightfully) I guess Shyamalan just didn't bother. I would be open to watching a live action Avatar, just not Shyamalan's version. He deviates from canon a lot. Some things that particularly bothered me in that movie were the fact the Firebenders couldn't produce their own flames and also the fact the Fire Nation people looked nothing like how they were supposed to. Oh yea, and I can't forget how it took a group of Earthbenders just to move one rock -_-.

There were so many points that were just killed in the movie. The movie was nothing like the show, and its one of those cartoons that had so much potential as a great movie. Im actually glad they didnt bother with making the rest of the series. Now I am all for a reboot if the right director gets their hands on it and makes it true to the show. I cant even bother to name all the things wrong with the movie, there were so many!!!! most specially the pronunciation of AANG!! how can you mess that up after a show has 3 seasons of saying it a certain way!?!?!? ughhh i hated that so much.

Too true. I was just hitting the tip of the iceberg of all the things wrong with it.

For me it says DVD only. But I had no problem watching on otakucenter. :)
