Can anyone tell me how to remove items from the wardrobe please?

Personal>wardrobe Stay in that wardrobe, don't go to the beta one. Click on all the items you want to move to your inventory. Click the box next to them in the clothing layers list, hit "move checked to inventory"

You can also find them under the "Wardrobe" tab (on the left side, underneath Clothes), click the >>> button for everything you want to move and then click Move! on the right, they'll go into your Inventory unless you select another drawer.
