Hi!

Can someone explain to me how do the drawers in the wardrobe work ?

I made different categories like Kitties, Flowers, Face, etc. so when I click on these drawers I see the actual items but then I can't figure out how to see them in the normal wardrobe, not in the drawers ? And how am I supposed to delete an item from a drawer ? Also, how do I delete completely the drawer itself ?

It looks like a handy feature as I have 15k of junk in there but at times I would just like to look for a specific item by typing the name of it or something and I am not able to see it if I put it in a drawer so it is annoying.

Are you asking in reference to the "old" wardrobe, or the beta wardrobe?

Because drawers work exactly like you'd think they would in the normal wardrobe - for example, I put a bunch of false wounds and spooky foregrounds and backgrounds and such in my "Spoopy" drawer, and any time I wanted to do a HA with that effect, I click on that drawer and all layers come up. Similarly, I had my tops sorted by "Tops - color" and "Tops - neutral". Click on the neutral tops drawer and you get things that are whites, creams, browns, greys, blacks....et cetera.

However, I haven't been able to get the Beta wardrobe to acknowledge drawers properly at all, so with a heavy heart, I deleted all the drawers. This I had to do by going navigating to the old wardrobe, clicking on the 'Wardrobe' link, and removing things back to "No Drawer" (not sure if this step was necessary, but I didn't want to risk that deleting the drawer would remove things to my inventory) and then deleting the drawer they were in.

I actually only use the beta wardrobe (the old for withdrawing items). I didn't know there were drawers in the old one actually :P

I understand what you're saying but for example I made a "Kinky stuff" drawer with a bunch of panties, bras, bodices, etc. There is the in it, alright ? But then if I am in the wardrobe (beta one) and not in the "Kinky stuff" drawer, the Bodysuit will not show up, even if I type "Argo" or whatever keyword. I will have to click on the drawer. So that's annoying if I wanna lend items to friends like Subeautique lines or so.

So if I really can't see them any longer in the normal wardrobe (still talking about beta), I will want to just delete them from the drawers or delete the drawers themselves so I am able to see full lines again.

Yeah, okay, that sounds like exactly what was going on with me in the beta wardrobe, which is why I stopped utilizing drawers. When you go to delete them (as I described above), that navigation has to be done from the old wardrobe, not beta. I'm not entirely sure there is a way to delete drawers from the beta wardrobe - if there is, I wasn't able to find it last week when I finally moved to delete mine...

Okay so I'm here now. I tried to look at what you just said. So if I am in the old wardrobe, I just typed Argo and saw all my Argo items (even the Blackout and White Noise bodysuits !) and clicked on "Kinky stuff" and saw the two Argo bodysuits. So yeah, it seems it is working well and just as I would like it to work in the old wardrobe. Then I went back to the new wardrobe and nah, still can't see the bodysuit in all the items. So that's something about that beta wardrobe that is annoying...hm. Might delete my drawers then.

I figured out how to delete them thanks to you. I made a useless one called TEST and deleted it from the old wardrobe. Thank you very much. :)

I am waiting to see if someone has some input for that beta wardrobe if not I'll definitely delete the drawers.

There's an All drawers option in both wardrobes, that is what you would need to click on to see all items without going into the drawers. Unfortunately it's broken in the beta wardrobe.

Yeah, I tried All Drawers, No Drawer...Meh, I didn't know if I was doing something wrong or what but okay, you're saying it's broken in the beta wardrobe so it's explaning things. I spent about an hour for putting all the bows and ribbons together, flowers together, and aaaaaall the facial things I like together so it is breaking a bit my heart to delete the drawers but I guess that's what I am forced to do. Also another question, once an item is in one drawer, it can't be in another drawer, right ? That's why it disappears, I guess ?

Right, items can only be in one drawer. I only really use the beta wardrobe for moving my base layer around, and I can't live without my drawers :P Well, I could, but it makes it a lot easier to find things. I don't know if I could deal with them in beta though until that gets fixed :L

Aw yis okay. Thank you very much. Actually I normally play a lot at moving things underneath the base or such and the beta wardrobe is loading so fast to me. I don't know how it is for the current old one but when I used to use it god it was so slow and I didn't have as many clothes as I have right now. That's why I slowly decided to use the beta one. Okay so I'm gonna consider if I will have to go back to the old one or not. Will requires some courage to me :P

I only have ~3k items in my wardrobe, and back when I was going for 15k I had the vast majority of them in a separate drawer for items I was keeping strictly for the achievements, so I don't actually know how long it takes to load (I mean, it took a bit longer than it does now but as soon as I got into the wardrobe I would click the drawer I needed so). I got rid of over 12k items after I got the achievement though so I imagine that probably makes a difference, especially if you need to load all of them instead of just going into one small drawer right away :P

I'm planning to get rid of all my stuff (well, the ones I don't use) as I have 15k items in there actually but I am a bit demotivated seeing the huge number of items in there. Well done to you for having gotten rid of 12k stuff :P I'm actually ordering my wardrobe at the moment but the one IRL not the Subeta one lol so I am not having problem of drawer there and definitely not 15k items so it's going to go quicker hmhmmh

Ah, yeah the whole time I was saving I stashed everything into a Sell drawer so all I had to do was go in there and clear it all out once it came time :L I didn't realize it was anywhere near 12k items until I got it all into a shop lol
