I've been on Subeta for years and have many happy memories of the place, but then things began to get a little stale and I found myself getting more and more disinterested as each day came and went. I've been on and off for years, and this is the first time in ages that I've started to take an interest again. However, nothing's really changed. I was looking forward to using the new wardrobe... only to find it's still the old one. I know that the new wardrobe is in beta but I actually thought it would be finished by now. I really feel like myself and others are getting bored now. We need something to happen, but it just seems that Keith and his team don't really have as much passion in Subeta than they used to have.
Anyone else agree?
Actually, no. I'm not a super long time member, but from the day I joined until the present... I think a lot has changed. From new systems, to updates, overhauls, etc. Right now, we almost get one news post per day with new restockables, CS items and other goodies/thingies, so... yeah. If staff wouldn't care, things like that surely wouldn't happen imo. Communication on the forums regarding bugs, updates and feedback also seems to be going smoothly nowadays. Nothing I could complain about, tbh.
Regarding the wardrobe, you may want to look HERE. Maybe that answers your question why the beta wardrobe's still the way it is. :) And sorry for asking, but do you know that the old wardrobe has a link above it that leads you to the beta product? o: It sounds like you didn't know because you said 'I only found the old one'. It may not be finished, but it is indeed usable.

Of course there are the same annoying issues like lack of communication, but the site is light years different than what it was a while.
There have been so many QoL changes (self stickering, hover links, Shop Search quest buttons) that have been made that are great
I feel like heaps changed actually. Maybe not giant subeta-life changing things like a new wardrobe. But Subeta is getting more user friendly in my opinion and lots of small things make the site better like mentioned above: self stickering, because that's a good example. Last year we could go weeks with nothing really happening, now we got weekly ts restocks, crystal shop restocks, new recycling beast items, new restockables and we got monthly boutique sets.
If you came back from being gone for a long time you probably won't notice the changes straight away but when you are always here like me and from one day to the next they finally fix that one thing that annoyed me for ages I go like: sigh from relieve YES. Or from a time without ts restocks to suddenly: omg that book i needed, next week AND THAT BOOK.
I feel like reverse from you: subeta changed in a way that made me more excited again to keep playing.

I don't give a crap about wearables without the word "lifelike doll" in their name, so 2015 has been one of the best years so far on Subeta because not every single item release and newspost was about a feature I never used.
2015 is a gr8 year.
Subeta can get stale pretty quick. I've been trying to motivate myself by getting more heavily into training and battling my pet. Maybe not a lot has changed in a big way, but there's been a lot of little changes. A lot of game and quest revamps, coding fixes, minor usability upgrades, quality of life stuff.
If it's not capturing your interest again, maybe make a new sort of goal for yourself? Aim to complete a collection, or start battling, or fill your pets' TCs and create awesome profiles for them. Something concrete that you can work towards. This sort of game is definitely not very fun when all you're doing is twiddling your thumbs waiting for events! :D
I don't agree.
The site has changed in about a thousand ways. New games, features, interfaces, art, pets, pet colors, wearables, events, dailies, challengers, whole new battle system, scroll library, tons of stuff. If all you've played around with is the wardrobe though, that probably explains why you think nothing has changed. Explore a little!
And about the 'we really need something to happen' - something does happen, every few days. Each month has a specific theme this year. This month, for example, is centered around Delphi for summer. Can't wait to see what's in store!
Yeah.
The wardrobe's been forgotten, there's parts of the site that are just... there and there were supposed to be costume trunk replacements but nope.

I sorta agree? I left for 2 years and when I came back it still had the same feel to it (which certainly isn't a bad thing!) and all I could think of was "Wow it's exactly the same!", even though there are quite a few new features and items. IDK maybe I just secretly hoped it had changed drastically (but I've only been back for a day so maybe there is more to it?) so it would be like getting into a brand new thing, but I still love old and current subeta.
Socially speaking, yes.. to me it hasn't changed. It seems more quiet each time I pop in.
But a few things I've sorta pissed about is the Quest.. I used to make my money restocking and doing wizard quest. Everyday I would do all 30 quest for the wizard before 12am and when it reset, do 30 more. Now, only 10 a day. How am I even suppose to attempt to make money? I know certain weekends quest will get boosted if you do certain ppl but I always noticed the wizard never got anything special. Regardless it still bothers me that was changed.. Pet zapper moved too.
Do more quests than just the wizard. Maleria has better SP payouts, namely.
Wardrobe has most certainly not been forgotten.
