Hey,

I'm new to this website, and honestly am only here for the social aspect. I started playing Neopets in 2000, recently decided to become a 'neomillionaire' in 2013, gathered 4 mil within a few months, and realized there wasn't really a point to being there anymore beside nostalgia and accomplishing a goal that I've had since I was a child. I recall growing close to people a lot of players in 'Other Worlds' back in 2003, people who I still talk to to this day. I guess I kind of miss just making acquaintances, and Neopets is so strict about exchanging conversation about anything, so I went looking for an alternative. So here I am, as I am, saying hello to you.

Who am I? I am a 24-year-old who let himself get behind. I'm currently in college for photography. I probably could have graduated with a master's by now if I had gone straight to college out of high school, but I decided to bum around, drink, smoke, and do a lot of drugs. Then when I quit all that, I got a dead end job. Decided to start school at the age of 22 and I won't even have my associate's degree until I'm 25. It is what it is.

Also, props do whoever did the graphics; they're great.

Hello, and welcome to Subeta! :) Yeah neopets has changed a lot since I was little, I think you will enjoy Subeta as a fresh alternative. If my memory serves me correctly that's why I joined subeta in the first place as well.

Congrats on working towards college, I totally understand the frustration of not having went straight into college after high shool, I too waited a few years. The important thing is doing it, though! As long as I just get my schooling done I will be happy lol

Photography sounds like an interesting subject, what's it like studying for it?

welcome to subeta! A lot of us came from neo, and i hope you'll find here what you couldn't find there as i did so many years ago. ^-^'' the rules are a lot more lax in the forums than neo, but still very important to follow as a warning is no small matter. XP my account on neo was banned for talking about religion in the forums and i've lost my taste for the site ever since.
