I have a Demi.

I have a dilemma too. does not look very much like

At some point I'll be ordering or making custom art and I want to stay somewhat true to the actual pet(because overlay rules). So what colour should I make my wonderful little Demi to get him reasonably close to a German Shepherd Service Dog in Training?

Maybe nostalgic?

Just a note that you don't need to actually stay close to the actual pet for an overlay. This pet has a custom overlay and won the spotlight once with it. As long as you don't make the overlay appear to be a different color of pet than you actually have (like making your overlay appear to be Storm when the pet itself is Common or something) you're fine c:

For a custom overlay, you use this page. It costs 500 CSC but once you assign it to a pet, it shows up all over the site, not just on your pet's profile.

For a free overlay that just shows on the profile, you would probably need to upload it to an image hosting site and then use a code for it, but I don't know what the code is, sorry :c

Thanks! I'll check into it. I just thought a Demi was perfect because they have similar color patterns to German Shepherds anyway and that big fluffy mane is like the longer fur on his back along the spine. Plus the horn is funny because there's a joke in the service dog community that all service dogs are actually Unicorns since people tend to stare so much like they've never seen one before.

Aw I've never heard about that part with them being called Unicorns, that is actually pretty cute I think! :D So a Demi is a totally matching Pet then, I see. Also because of the fur and the pose/body in general. (:

Actually I'd totally use the Unicorn part for an overlay as well. Maybe a German Shepherd with a small horn like the Demi has? :D

I think a cream demi would be most like a German Shepard until a better color comes around. :) and it's also not too expensive
